The Gym Leaders of Sinnoh are fictional characters in the video games Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Each of them runs an official Pokémon gym in the Sinnoh region, serving as an in-game boss that the player must defeat in order to progress through the game. When defeated, many of them enable the use of Hidden Machines, special Pokémon moves which serve various purposes outside battle, or they might raise the stats of the player's Pokémon.

However, when she later noticed that James' Cacnea wasn't being trained to its full potential, he agreed to let her care for it and train it to become stronger, after a bit of unsuccessful training on his part. She later appears after the game's end in front of the Old Chateau, inspecting odd activity there (presumably caused by Rotom) but is too scared to go inside and leaves it up to the player. In the anime, she has a extremely strong liking for Grass-type Pokémon, hugging almost every one of them in sight (except her own).
