Seven main series were made of Robot Wars. Two extra series were also produced, called Extreme, and several special episodes were made too.

Along with the main war, there were three other competitions:
Robot Soccer - Robots had to score the most goals they could with a house robot, usually Dead Metal in goal.
Walker Exhibition Battles - Two walker robots had a battle between each other to determine who was the best walker machine, there were two of these.
Pinball competition - Robots went around a course scoring as many points as they could by hitting targets, knocking down barrels, going through obstacles, completing tasks etc. and the house robots were in there to try and stop them.

Other competitions:
Pinball competition - Same as Series 3, robots went around a course scoring as many points as they could by hitting targets, knocking down barrels, going through obstacles, completing tasks etc. and the house robots were in there to try and stop them.

A special 17 episode series recorded February 2001 between the Fourth and Fifth Wars. The series contains lots of less serious battles, different challenges and lots of fun, challenging and different tournaments.
The shows featured more than one tournament in an episode so not all the tournaments you see here take up one whole show.

* Draven was originally called Anthrax, which it was referred to when the episode originally aired on BBC Choice. Due to the Anthrax scare that was happening in the U.S at the time it aired on BBC2 and TechTV (currently G4TV), its name was changed in all subsequent airings.
