This article contains a list of minor characters in the American television series, Prison Break. The listed characters are those who were played by guest stars. The characters are listed alphabetically by their last name or by the name which appears in the episode credits.

[edit] Aldo Burrows

Aldo is the father of Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), and the grandfather of L. J. Burrows (Marshall Allman).

He also spent much of his life in the employ of a secret organization known as "The Company". Due to his commitments to the Company, he was forced to abandon his family when Lincoln was still a child and before Michael was born (which is why Michael has his mother's last name). After leaving the Company, he began actively working against it with various individuals both inside and outside the government. He became one of the main catalysts for the events of the series, including Lincoln's death sentence.

In an interview featured in one of the Prison Break magazine, Denison mentions that he felt as if that he might make a return in a flashback or some other kind of reappearance in the future because of the way he was given his final goodbye from the producers.

[edit] "Avocado" Balz-Johnson

Avocado was introduced to the series as a prisoner, who was assigned as Tweener's cellmate by Bellick. He made unwelcome sexual advances on Tweener and was the reason why Tweener ultimately decided to escape with Michael Scofield, Tweener soon got his revenge, by castrating Avocado with a blade. After Bellick was imprisoned in the second season, Avocado became his cellmate.

Mack is one of the correctional officers at Fox River. He has a bit of a mean-streak and appears less compassionate than Patterson or Stolte. He has on at least one occasion consumed alcohol on the job. This caused Michael, who had sneaked out of his cell, to have to hide from Mack which is how he burned his back on a steam pipe. When Michael and 7 other convicts escape from Fox River, Mack joined the team of Correctional officers that tried to recapture them. He does not appear in season 2, but is presumibly still employed at Fox River.

Hector is Sucre's cousin and nemesis. He has a romantic interest in Sucre's girlfriend Maricruz. Hector is partly responsible for Sucre's incarceration for robbery; he called in a police tip that led to Sucre's arrest outside a liquor store. After his cousin's incarceration, it became relatively easy to create tension between Sucre and his girlfriend. Eventually, Hector succeeded in separating the two and in starting a relationship of his own with Maricruz. In episode "Cute Poison", Hector visited his cousin to tell Sucre that Maricruz was no longer with him. In season 2, Hector was engaged to be married with Maricruz in Las Vegas, Nevada; but when Sucre showed up at the wedding, she called it off. In "Rendezvous", Hector storms into Theresa's home and demands to know where Maricruz is. He finds her travel itinerary and yells that she is taking their honeymoon trip without him, but paid for with his money.

[edit] Leticia Barris

A second-hand witness (via her murdered boyfriend) to Lincoln Burrows' innocence, she gave an unsigned affidavit to Veronica Donovan just before being kidnapped by Secret Service agents Kellerman and Hale. She was murdered by the same agents soon after.

Samantha Brinker is a fairly highly ranked executive in "The Company" and acts as a link between Vice President Caroline Reynolds and her own superiors. She seems to be a very smug woman. The relationship between her and Reynolds is one of mutual dislike, which also includes Reynolds' henchman Paul Kellerman. Brinker is openly condescending towards Reynolds, viewing her as merely a pawn to achieve Company interests. She was privy to The Company's true intentions behind the framing of Lincoln Burrows, and continued to pull Reynolds' strings throughout the first season, including how to vote on the environmental bill. Later, she delighted in humiliating Reynolds by informing her of The Company's decision to pull all support to her campaign, only to have Reynolds turn the tables on her by secretly murdering the president, assuming the presidency for herself. Brinker has not been seen since.

Falzone is part of the same Mafia Family as John Abruzzi. He ensured the well-being of Abruzzi in Fox River State Penitentiary by offering bribes to Captain Brad Bellick, which got him in charge of the Prison Industries. However, Falzone frequently pressured Abruzzi to locate Otto Fibonacci, who witnessed their wrongdoings, before the trial that will incriminate him. He was tricked by Michael and Abruzzi to go to Canada to find Fibonacci and was arrested.

[edit] Otto Fibonacci

Otto Fibonacci was the manager at a warehouse which happened to be run by the mob when he witnessed Abruzzi order the execution of two men. His testimony led to Abruzzi's conviction and incarceration. Fibonacci later entered the Witness Protection Program and went into hiding in Topeka, Kansas. He is shown to be the constant source of frustration for Abruzzi as Falzone continuously pressures Abruzzi to find Fibonacci's hideout from Michael Scofield. In the second season, although the character never appears, Mahone uses Fibonacci as bait to Abruzzi's capture.

Gus Fiorello was Abruzzi's cellmate and right-hand man at Fox River State Penitentiary until Philly Falzone promoted him for a short period of time in "Sleight of Hand" in order to force Abruzzi to retrieve the location of Otto Fibonacci. After taking Abruzzi's power within the prison from him, Abruzzi took his revenge by sticking a broken lightbulb in his eye. When Abruzzi's status in the prison was restored, Gus was no longer associated with Abruzzi.

Dede is C-Note's and Kacee's daughter. She has a serious health problem with her kidney. After Kacee's arrest, C-Note has to find a doctor for Dede. As a result C-Note makes a deal with Alexander Mahone to save his daughter.

[edit] Kacee Franklin

Kacee is C-Note's wife and the mother of his daughter Dede. Ignorant of her husband's incarceration until his escape, Kacee was reluctant to trust C-Note's plan for their family's reunion. However, when Agent Lang pressured her to make a choice, she chooses not to cooperate with the FBI. Kacee and her family escaped to North Dakota before she was arrested for aiding and abetting her husband. She was later released as part of the deal her husband had with F.B.I. Special Agent Mahone.

[edit] Seth "Cherry" Hoffner

Serving 8 years at Fox River for Vehicular Invasion and Kidnapping, Seth was quickly given the nickname "Cherry" and forced into a sexual relationship with T-Bag. Seth appealed to Michael for help, though Michael refused to get involved since T-Bag was aware of Michael's escape plan. Shortly thereafter, Seth committed suicide by hanging himself.

Susan was T-Bag's girlfriend three years before the current timeline. He often came over for dinner and spent time with her and her two kids. She turned him in to the police after seeing him on America's Most Wanted, from which she learned that he was actually a rapist serial killer. Three years later, after his escape from Fox River, T-Bag tracked down Susan and her family. Proclaiming that he had forgiven her and that he wanted to start a new life with her and her kids, T-Bag took the Hollanders to his childhood home in Alabama. T-Bags delusional dream fell apart when Susan admitted that she could never love him, no matter how much time would pass. Surprisingly, T-Bag spared her and her kids lives and made a phone call to the authorities revealing where to find the Hollander family.

[edit] Robert "Bob" Hudson

Robert "Bob" Hudson was a correctional officer at Fox River. Whilst escorting the death row inmate Lincoln Burrows back to his cell during a prison riot, C.O. Bob was cornered by T-Bag and was dragged into the cell of Michael Scofield where he accidentally exposed a hole hidden behind the prisoner's sink. As a result he was taken hostage and used as "leverage" for negotiations between the inmates, the Warden and the Governor of Illinois. Despite appeals from Michael and threats from Abruzzi, T-Bag stabbed and killed Bob before pushing him off a tier onto the ground below. Christopher Trokey was falsely accused of his murder.

[edit] Louis Patterson

Patterson is more compassionate than most of the other correctional officers, particularly to Lincoln Burrows. On one occasion, Patterson let Lincoln see his son without his handcuffs on. Although he is a married man, had an affair with the warden's secretary, Becky. When the Fox River Eight escaped from the prison, Patterson joined Bellick and some of the other Correctional officers in futile pursuit of the convicts. After Bellick was fired and Warden Pope resigned, Patterson remains at Fox River. He reappears later in season 2 when Bellick returns to Fox River (now as a convict). Bellick had hoped that Patterson and some of the other CO:s could get him sent to Add Seg, but Patterson informed his former boss that the new warden would not tolerate any preferential treatment and that Bellick would serve his time in Gen Pop with the regular inmates.

Keith Stolte is another correctional officer at Fox River. He likes to talk about sports with C.O. Patterson and has a teenaged son called Josh. His compassion in helping Lincoln prepare for the impending execution gave his character distinction. Although he has been known to be mean to some of the inmates (like Sucre) Stolte is shown as having a good relationship with Lincoln throughout the first season. After Lincoln's son L.J. was in danger, Stolte allowed Lincoln to call him even though it was against the rules. Following the Fox River Eight escape, Stolte remained at he prison reporting to Warden Pope. He also advised Pope to contact the Governor. Stolte reappears in season 2 when Bellick becomes incarcerated at Fox River when Stolte warns the former captain to expect revenge from a large inmate named Banks, whom Bellick had angered.

[edit] Quinn

Quinn was an agent from "The Company", put in charge of supervising Agents Kellerman and Hale. Seemingly mildly-mannered, friendly and somewhat bumbling, Quinn is actually observant, very intelligent, and ruthless. We first saw this when he suddenly brutally broke some of Kellerman's fingers, and when he murdered Veronica's ex-fiancé. Quinn also seemed to have intimate knowledge of medical procedures and of human anatomy. His attempt to obtain information from Nick, Veronica and LJ fails, however, and Quinn ends up at the bottom of a well. He calls agents Kellerman and Hale, though they mearly respond by pulling a cover over the well and leaving him there to die. Before dying, Quinn scratched the names KELLERMAN and O. KRAVECKI into the wall, giving LJ a clue to find Kellerman.

There was a continuity problem in the episode he appeared in. He had sandpapered the right side of his face to make it bloody, but during the chase the injury migrates to his left side.

[edit] Christopher Trokey

At Fox River State Penitentiary, Trokey was associated with T-Bag's group of white supremists. During the riot in the sixth episode of the series, Trokey helped T-Bag cause disruption to the entire A-wing, forcing the guards to retreat. Later, when Bellick searched for the murderer of C.O. Bob Hudson, T-Bag framed Trokey for the murder and planted a photo of Bob's daughter under Trokey's bed. Trokey was then removed from the general population of the prison.

Trumpets is the leader of one of the black groups. He worked in the prison kitchen and was friends with C-Note until he joined Michael's P.I escape crew, which included known racist T-Bag. When C-Note asked Trumpets to help retrieve some money in "Bluff", Trumpets refused, causing a fight amongst C-Note and his group. The two later fought in the kitchen when Trumpets caught C-Note stealing peroxide. After being brutally beaten by C-Note, Trumpets issued a deathmark on his head and it was only his escape that same night that saved C-Note from certain death. During the second season, after Bellick's fight with an inmate, Trumpets told Bellick to expect more attacks from other inmates, coldly stating that he had it coming.

Nika is Michael's wife. She married him the day before his bank robbery, which landed him in Fox River. Originally from the Czech Republic, Nika was brought to America by sex traffickers. Michael paid them off for her freedom and arranged a deal: A green card marriage in exchange for smuggling a disguised keycode access card into prison for him. After smuggling the card to Fox River, Nika was recognized by Bellick, who cornered her at the strip club where she worked. She eventually folded and "revealed" that she gave Michael a credit card, which Bellick would be unable to find. Michael later called for Nika's assistance again; this time to steal a key that was crucial in the escape plan. Although she was reluctant, she agreed. After Michael and his brother Lincoln escaped from prison, Nika provided them with shelter and transportation. Ultimately, however, she realized that while she had grown to love Michael, he had just used her. Angry and hurt, she pulled a gun on the brothers, only to find that the gun was not loaded. Michael and Lincoln drove away, leaving Nika behind.

Katie is one of the nurses who befriended Sara Tancredi at Fox River State Penitentiary. She is shown to be the only person who Sara interacts regularly inside and outside the prison. After Michael Scofield and seven other prisoners escaped, Katie reluctantly told the warden that Sara may have assisted Michael in his escape. In the second season premiere, Katie pays a visit to Sara after her drug overdose. The character is featured less in the second than the first season as the storyline of the second season takes place outside the prison. Katie appears again in the fifteenth episode of the season when Bellick is incarcerated at Fox River and is sent to the infirmary after he was injured.

[edit] Agent Wheeler

FBI Agent Wheeler accompanies and helps Special Agent Mahone track the fugitives mainly from the FBI Field Office in Chicago. After the death of John Abruzzi, Wheeler became suspicious of Mahone's methods of capture. Later, after Michael and Lincoln's speech was broadcast in episode, "The Message", he questions Mahone's methods and in a subsequent episode, he announces that the F.B.I. headquarters will be monitoring Mahone's actions. When Wheeler finds out about C-Note's deal with Mahone, he goes to see C-Note to gather evidence on Mahone's misconduct. Wheeler then notifies Chicago Internal Affairs Director Richard Sullins and together they begin to build up enough evidence to arrest Mahone. Sensing the impending betrayl, Mahone confronts Wheeler in the FBI parking garage. Although angry about the betrayal, Mahone expressed his admiration for Wheeler for having the courage to do the right thing and left him unharmed before fleeing the country.

Debra Jean is a college student from Utah. She shares a ride to Utah with Tweener after he responded to her advertisement on the campus ride board. Her initial suspicions of him wanes after she becomes infatuated with him. Debra Jean aids his escape by letting him take her car. Later, Tweener appears on her doorstep and makes peace with her.

[edit] Bruce Bennett

Bruce is a close aid and long-time friend of Governor Frank Tancredi. After Tancredi was murdered and his daughter Sara Tancredi was attacked, Bruce was believed to be a traitor. He was later proved to have been innocent (his phone line was bugged). Bruce appears again in the season finale, supporting Sara at her trial.

Theresa is Maricruz's sister. She seems to dislike Hector but is also distrustful of Sucre, thinking that he has let down Maricruz too many times to be trusted. She was with Maricruz at the airport in Ixtapa when she was reunited with Sucre.

Petey is Sucre's cousin who lives in New York. After Sucre escaped from Fox River, Petey told him that Maricruz was getting married to Hector in Las Vegas. Sucre then borrowed Petey's motorbike to stop the wedding. Although he promised to return the bike, he was later forced to abandon it in the Utah forests. When calling to apologize, Petey informed him that Maricruz had abandoned Hector at the alter, promting Sucre to go after her. Petey is also mentioned but not seen in the third season, telling Sucre that Maricruz had returned to Chicago.

Cooper Green was the former Deputy Attorney General. He sympathized with Aldo Burrows and his network of followers, and sought a way to bring down The Company and their lackey President Reynolds. After he was contacted by Sara Tancredi, he tried to help Aldo's sons, Michael and Lincoln, to atenticate a tape that could bring down the president. Unfortunately, Cooper found that the recording lacked a proper timestap, making it useless in court. Before leaving, he made the suggestion that only one option remained: blackmail the president for a pardon. The brothers would attempt this strategy to clear their names, but failed when Reynolds decided to step down rather than exonorate them.

[edit] Kristine Kellerman

Kristine is Paul Kellerman's sister. They were pratically estranged for 15 years after he left their abusive mother and she allways felt abandoned by him. She works as an environmental conservationist in such an association. Her brother visits her there after deciding to kill President Caroline Reynolds asking her to remember him when as he was before instead of the man that was going to do something bad but he had to do. She is later called at her job after her brother's suicide attempt in a hotel room and she goes there and convinces him to do the right thing as a reason why his attempt failed.

The Pad Man oversees a military research facility on Long Island and holds the rank of General. He is also a high-ranking member of The Company. His true identity is not known, and he is instead identified by his tendency to issue his orders on notepads, rather than verbal communication, to avoid audio recording spying equipment. The character's name has yet to be mentioned on the show. The Pad Man is William Kim's superior. He wrote the order to "retire" Agent Kellerman and preassured Kim to eliminate the brothers. Later, upon learning that the brothers were in Panama, Pad Man urged Kim to engineer Michael Scofield's incarceration into Sona in order to break out another inmate, named James Whistler. Although Pad Man's own violent plan to break out Whistler- codenamed Bang & Burn- failed, Michael managed to extract Whistler safely. Pad Man has yet to re-appear after Whistler was freed, however.

[edit] Pamela Mahone

Pam is Mahone's ex-wife born in Colombia and lives in Colorado with their son Cameron. Michael visited her in the Season 2 episode "Unearthed" and learned that Mahone had kicked her out of the house to prevent her from discovering that he had murdered the fugitive Oscar Shales and buried him in his backyard. Later, as Mahone attempted to put his life back together, he professed his love to Pam and pleaded with her to take him back. She seemed happy about this and had started to make plans to meet him in down in Panama when Mahone called her again. Now incarcerated by the panamian police, Mahone sadly told her to forget he ever existed.

Pavelka is a hard-line and unsympathetic individual first introduced as presiding over the DOC review board following the escape of the Fox River Eight. He makes the decision to fire Captain Bellick and put Warden Pope on suspension. He later succeeds Pope as the warden of Fox River State Penetentiary.

[edit] Jane Phillips

Jane is a close associate and ally of Aldo Burrows and aids him in his fight against The Company. She was given the mission to rescue Lincoln and L.J. Burrows from the police. Although she and Lincoln initially had a somewhat antagonistic relationhip, he grew to trust her after she saved his life by killing the Company agent sent to eliminate the Burrows trifecta. She was later sent away to take care of L.J. in Pullman, Washington. L.J. ended up in the hands of The Company in the third season, and Jane's fate has yet to be revealed.

Pike is a Company agent working with Gretchen in Panama. He set up the sting operation with T-Bag and was working to get Whistler out of Sona. He is later shot and killed by Lincoln Burrows.

[edit] Kathryn Slattery

A detective in Tribune, Kansas who runs afoul of Bellick after he is knocked out by Geary. Upon interviewing him, she finds several of what she believes to be discrepancies in his official story and due to a threat left on Geary's voicemail hours before he is murdered, she comes to the conclusion that Bellick murdered his friend and former coworker.

An Internal Affairs Agent who first appeared in "Dead Fall" investigating Agent Mahone's role in the deaths of John Abruzzi and David "Tweener" Apolskis but was abruptly called off by a supervisor. Sullins seems to have a serious grudge with Mahone. He reappears in "Panama", where Agent Wheeler introduces him as the director of Internal Affairs at FBI, and agrees to a deal with Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin to release him in exchange for testimony against Mahone. After busting C-Note out of jail, Sullins gives him and his family a new life and C-Note then thanks Sullins for what he has done. Later in the 3rd Season, Sullins appears when he, along with agent Lang, talk to Mahone and convince him to testify against the Company in his trial. He later discovers that Mahone can't testify because he is becoming worse at the need of his drugs to control himself.

Is an agent who works for Agent Kim and was assigned to secure Terrence Steadman's location. He is every bit as ruthless as everyone working for the organization. He later killed Veronica Donovan and attempted to kill Sara Tancredi in her apartment, but she sprayed him in the face before he was able to kill her. Later, after arranging the hit-and-run accident of Alexander Mahone's son, he was killed by Mahone.

[edit] Augusto

Augusto is Lechero's cousin and the leader of his organisation on the outside. Their relationship has been increasingly strained as Lechero suspects Augusto of trying to take over his position. Augusto has sent cigars to Sammy in Sona, possibly to undermine Lechero. He also approched Sucre (the new Sona grave digger) with an offer to smuggle a package into the prison, (the cigars for Sammy), he would later have another package (containing a gun) smuggled in to Sona by Sucre. He then visited Sammy and told him to use what was in the package, wanting Sammy to take rule over Sona, by possibly killing Lechero.

Cheo was one of Lechero's henchmen inside Sona. Unlike Sammy who was irritated at T-Bag, Cheo viewed him as a harmless clown. He was killed by Lechero for taking tribute from Augusto (although it was actually Sammy taking the tribute) and his corpse was hung up over the courtyard as a warning example to the other inmates.

Escamilla appears to be the commanding officer of the soldiers guarding the walls of Sona Federal Prison. After the prison riot, he made a deal with Lechero to allow him to run Sona but now appears to question his decision. He has shown himself to be a cold-blooded killer when he casually executed an inmate thought to have attempted an escape.

Proving that Lechero really can get anything he wants in Sona, he smuggles a prostitute into the prison disguised as a nun. T-Bag was ordered to hide her from the guards when they raided the prison and they narrowly avoided detection. Lechero's cousin Augusto has recently stopped paying her for these visits, infuriating Lechero and making her fear for her future livelihood. she would attempt to steal from Lechero, and get caught. T-Bag took the fall for it saying he gave her the money. In season three's finale T-Bag murdered Lechero and it was made apparent that she is in love with T-Bag when she comes to visit him in Sona, bringing Lechero's money for T-Bag to buy the inmates' loyalty and says she'll wait for him.

Alfonso is McGrady's father and visited him on McGrady's birthday. Alfonso was also asked to pass on a message from Michael Scofield to Lincoln Burrows. Alfonso later aided his son's escape from Sona Federal Prison.

Nieves was Lechero's henchman in charge of drug distribution in Sona. After T-Bag discovers that Lechero suspects him of using the drugs himself, T-Bag kills Nieves to climb in the ranks and stages the death to look like an overdose.

A man from Cristobal's gang. He joins Lechero's gang when Sammy recruits Cristobal and his gang.Later he chalenges Bellick in a fight for not cleaning the mess,but is killed by him.

Another of Lechero's thugs inside Sona. Papo was among the more quiet but aggressive henchmen. He was falsely accused of attempting an escape and was promptly shot by Colonel Escamilla.

One of the guards protecting the walls of Sona Federal Prison. He was immidiately suspicous of Sucre upon his employment as the new Sona grave digger. After the Escape of the Sona 4, Rafael and the other guards discovered that Sucre had aided the escape. They tortured him and then threw him into the prison.

A Sona inmate who seems to know Whistler's real identity. He claimed to have worked with him in Nice, a claim that Whistler denied. He made many enemies in the prison, including Whistler, Mahone and Bellick, and was later found murdered. The identity of the killer was never revealed, although Whistler was a prime suspect. When Lechero realized that he didn't have enough evidence to kill Whistler, he instead killed one of his own henchmen, Cheo, whom Lechero suspected of planning to betray him. Cheo was then used as a scapegoat.

Colonel Escamilla's superior who briefly replaces him as commander of Sona. Zavala is ruthless and hard but also appears to have a softer side and is somewhat mysterious making his true nature and motives hard to determine. He decides to help Michael Scofield rescue L.J. Burrows from The Company. To this end, he tortures Company operative Gretchen Morgan for information on his whereabouts. She deliberately sends him to the wrong location and ends up overpowering both him and his men. He is then killed by Gretchen.
