List of Philippine provinces by population

This is a list of the Philippines' provinces sorted by population, based on the population census of May 1, 2000 conducted by the Philippines' National Statistics Office.

The list includes newly-created provinces, created after the census date, with their population segregated from their mother province. It includes population of highly urbanized cities, which are administratively independent of the province.
