Japanese Nabari no Ō episodes on DVD

This article is a list of episodes for the 2008 Japanese anime series Nabari no Ō, directed by Kunihisa Sugishima, and animated by J.C.Staff.^[1] The anime is an adaptation of Yuhki Kamatani's Nabari no Ō manga, which was first serialized in the Japanese shōnen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy in 2004.^[2] The story revolves around Rokujo Miharu, a 14-year-old student who unknowingly possesses a powerful hijutsu within him, and his introduction into the hidden ninja world of Nabari upon his power's activation.

It first began airing on Japan's terrestrial television network TV Tokyo on April 6, 2008; airing on Sundays from 01:30 to 02:00 (JST). It also airs on other Japanese networks such as TV Aichi and TV Osaka, though it airs first on TV Tokyo.^[3] It is expected to contain a total of twenty-six episodes.^[4]

Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; one opening theme and one ending theme. The opening theme is "Crawl", performed and arranged by Veltpunch, with the lyrics and composition by Hidenori Naganuma. The ending theme is "Hikari" by Elisa, with lyrics by Emi Nishida.^[1] Veltpunch and Elisa are scheduled to release the singles for "Crawl" and "Hikari" on May 21, 2008.^[5]

Miharu is approached by Aizawa to join the Ninja Club. Not long after, Miharu is found to already be pursued, but ends up being guarded by Aizawa and Kumohira.
02	"Raimei Arrives" "Raimei, Kitaru" (雷鳴、来る)	April 13, 2008
Raimei is introduced to the group. She convinces everyone to visit the Fūma village in order to help Miharu.
03	"Assault" "Shūgeki" (襲撃)	April 20, 2008
The Fūma village is attacked by ninjas from Kairōshū clan, who are after Fūma's Kinjutsu scroll. Yoite overpowers Aizawa, Raimei, and Kumohira before Kotarō returns to the village.
04	"Ordered Mission" "Ninmu Iiwatashi" (任務言渡)	April 27, 2008
After Yoite leaves the village, Kotarō gives the group a mission - to steal the Kinjutsu scrolls from the other villages as the Kairōshū plan to do the same.
05	"Greed" "Yoku" (慾)	May 4, 2008
Miharu, Aizawa, and Raimei leave Kumohira and Fūma to destroy Banten's ninjutsu scrolls. A teacher asks Miharu to change the past using the Shinrabanshō, but is ambushed by Raimei. She asks about her brother Raikō, who killed their clan and joined Kairōshū. Later, Yoite attacks.
06	"Choice" "Sentaku" (選択)	May 11, 2008
Yoite takes Miharu and tells him to change the past so he never existed. After witnessing his teacher's death, Miharu is presented with three choices, one is to grant the wish and the other two result in the death of his friends. He decides to help and is taken home.
07	"Heart's Decision" "Kessuru Kokoro" (決する心)	May 18, 2008
The Banten ninja are approached by Yae Oda, President of Fog Blue and leader of Togakushi village. By offering a kinjutsu scroll as reward and using the very technique to hold their secrets 'hostage', she gets them to assassinate a man for her, Mr. Frosty. Meanwhile, Raimei heads back to Fūma to see what the village has found about Raikō.
08	"Inherited Spirit" "Tsutawaru Kokoro" (伝わる心)	May 25, 2008
Yukimi and Yoite step in with Miharu hostage, preventing the attempt. The target flees to the parking lot, where Oda vows revenge on Nowake. After the other four arrive, Yoite is driven into using Kira carelessly. Fearing for his friend's lives, Miharu stops him. Aizawa completes the mission and hypnotizes Nowake, who takes the blame. Katō, a Fūma spy, is exiled from Togakushi. Oda, swearing never to use Izura Shingan again, leaves.
09	"Prelude Music" "Zensō Kyoku" (前奏曲)	June 1, 2008
A murder brings Raimei closer to finding Raikō. Aizawa is dispatched to stop Raimei from doing anything drastic. Miharu stays with Kumohira while his aunt is away. Meanwhile, the Kairōshū gathers. Yoite begins to show signs of his life force leaking due to Kira. He quickly leaves to find Miharu. Miharu asks Kumohira about the secrets he is unwilling to tell and reveals he will use the Shinrabanshō to help Yoite. An unknown woman finds Yoite unconscious near Kumohira's house. Raimei arrives at a garden where Raikō attacks her.
10	"Polka・Raimei and Raikō" "Poruka・Raimei to Raikou" (ポルカ・雷鳴と雷光)	June 8, 2008
Raimei and Raiko confront each other and Raiko severely wounds Raimei while taking her sword, Black Gamon, with him. Yoite is found by an unknown woman who is Kumohira's roomate (NOT LOVER!). She brings him home and treats him kindly, but the feeling is not reciprocated. Later, Yoite asks Miharu to bring him the scrolls of Tokagushi and Banten, saying that he still holds Miharu's friends captive.
