List of Magyarized geographical names

List of geographical names in the former Kingdom of Hungary, Magyarized between 1880 and 1918. The list includes place names of Slavic, Romanian or German origin that were replaced with newly invented Hungarian names. On the first place the former official name used in Hungarian is given, on the second the new Magyarized name and on the third place the name in original form in Slavic, Romanian or German language. In most cases after 1918 the former names were restored with the proper orthography of the given language.
