List of Honey and Clover episodes

The following is an episode listing for the Japanese anime Honey and Clover (ハチミツとクローバー Hachimitsu to Kurōbā?). The series consists of thirty-eight episodes in total broken up into two seasons — twenty-six (two DVD-only episodes) in the first and twelve in the second. The first season aired in 2005 from April to September; the second season aired in 2006 from June to September.
Most episodes have a quote or paraphrase from the dialogue as a title, and the preview teaser often adds a second "title". In this list, the title listed on the website is listed first, followed by the title spoken in the teaser (if available).

| Takemoto, Mayama and Hagu discover Morita's website which contains a collection of pictures featuring Hagu. Hagu gets upset and throws random objects at Morita, which include her wishlist. Meanwhile, Takemoto plans to throw a teppanyaki party. Later, after his job, Morita spots one of the items from Hagu's list, a pair of patent pink Mules, in a store and buys it as a present for Hagu. Morita arrives back in a drowsy state and gives Hagu the shoes and two bags of meat for Takemoto's party. Hagu is delighted and Morita faints from exhaustion from his job. Takemoto offers to carry him home and suddenly notices his feelings towards Hagu on the way back. | |||

| Hanamoto-sensei had a meet-up with his old teacher and was offered to go traveling with him to finish a book. He asked Hagu to go with him. They came back to the memories of Hanamoto-sensei and Hagu meeting in her grandma's house in the countryside. Hagu used to stay with her blind grandma and draw pictures of the scenery from the same spot as time passed by. One day, when her grandma passed away, Hanamoto-sensei came for the funeral and asked Hagu to go with him to the art college where she could meet people who have the same passion for art as she does. She agreed that time, however, for this time, she decided to stay because she was not lonely anymore; she had friends who would stay by her side. On that day they celebrated a farewell party for Hanamoto-sensei. Hagu tried to find a four leaf clover to bring luck and protection to Hanamoto-sensei (the first time the clover is directly mentioned). She was helped by Takemoto, Yamada, Mayama and Morita but they could not find one. | |||

| Hanamoto-sensei came back from traveling because he missed Hagu so much and his teacher couldn't stand it anymore. However he was flooded with work to finish. Takamoto also helped him so they couldn't go to buy art material with Hagu. Morita appeared saying he would go with her. Takamoto felt quite upset and was really wondering what they were doing during shopping all the time. Yet, Morita was not really taking care of Hagu at all, he walked too fast and always showed impatent face, which made Hagu feel uneasy. She had to run to follow him, forgot all what she wanted to buy, could not say if she wanted to go to toilet and even could not eat freely. When she came back, she said to Hanamoto-sensei that "it wasn't fun at all" and told him what happened and that it's much better going with him. He promised they would go again after he finished work. Takamoto was still wondering about what happenned, while Morita seemed a bit sad and emotional. | |||

| It was spring again. Hagu was still in uncomfortable mood. She went out to buy tobaco for Hanamoto-sensei and took a look of sakura flower for awhile. This was where Morita suddenly appeared in his normally crazy and excited behavior, he gave her his scrapt and kissed her unconsciously. He ran away the moment he realized what he had just done. Hagu was quite shocked after that and she got a fever which, according to Hanamoto-sensei, is often caused to her by stress. Hanamoto-sensei told Takamoto about Hagu's uncomfortable feelings while going out with Morita-kun last time, and he said she did not realize that was because she liked him. Takamoto felt said and came back home, finding the person who always called MOrita-kun out for work coming to the apartment, and trying to get into the stupidly-highly-secured room of Morita-kun. The secret room turned out to be full of digital computers and meters. The person took Morita's passport. It appeared that Morita was about to go to America (LA) for work. Takamoto jumped into the man's car to go to air port but he could not make it to meet Morita. The man was actually Morita's brother, who also has weird behaviors. He asked Takamoto if he wanted Morita to come back or not. Takamotoe later annouced the news, they all came to MOrita's room (as the door was destroyed by his brother). He asked Hagu if she wanted Morita to come back (now) or not. And she said she didn't want and wished him finishing his work over there before coming back. Takamoto felt hurt for that answer. | |||

| The episode starts with Takamoto feelings about what he wanted Hagu to answer for her wanting Morita to come back or not. But her stern and straight forward answer before was really hurt him. The story mainly talked about Yamada and her feelings later on. To save money, Mayama asked Yamada to help making some cases for his firm's project. This fact connected her to his work and helped the story develop. | |||

| Mayama dreamed of Rika-san. His co-worker said when one dreamed of another, that was because the person in the dream wanted them to meet so much that the soul escaped the body and came to the dream. Mayama was doubt about that but on the way came back from a conference, he and his co-workers passed a park where Rika-san was just behide a fountain watching him passing by. Mayama didnt notice until later on. But when he ran back to the fountain, she was not there anymore. | |||

| Mayama's work is going well, but he still misses Rika-san. Her current assistant suddenly has health problem and needs to stay in hospital. Mayama meets Rika-san in hospital and askes her if he can come back, but she rejected. Nomiya at the same time wants to meet Yamada and really gets his eyes on her. Mayama tryed to protect Yamada from him (much like a mother) as he says he wants her to meet a guy who treasures and don't just hook her up for fun. Takamoto was searching for jobs and doing his final project, which later on was given name by Hanamoto-sensei. This name made the idea become clear and his work masterpiece. | |||

| The firm Mayama was about to be apart. For some intentional purpose, his boss put him into the group of people who have to leave Tokyo to another place. At the same time, Rika-san's assistant was is hospital and she hasn't been able to find a replacement. Hence, Mayama decided to leave the firm and came back to work for Rika-san, without much of asking for her permission. Yamada acknowledged about this through Nomiya (Mayama's boss) and she was really depressed after that. After that, she was proposed by four guys from the shopping arcane (they were friends since small) but she ran aways. Hanamoto-sensei later on explained for her that the situation of her and Mayama was similar and in that case (loving someone who doesnt love you), people could just choose either "make some effort or give it up" and advised her to tell those guys her true feelings. After Yamada left, Hanamoto-sensei's thinking revealed that there is a third choice, but he would never speak it out. | |||
