After getting in trouble for filming on school grounds on a Saturday, Brendon, Jason and Melissa attend a poorly executed "Scared Straight" program. Brendon realizes that all the videos they made haven't ever been watched, leaving Paula to stumble on them and reveal that all his movies end with the same line: "it's time to pay the price".

Melissa and Jason break their arms. Brendon tries to break his arm to avoid a test but ends up actually studying for it, then breaks his arms falling down stairs. McGuirk trains to become a lifeguard though he's horrible at it.

The gang tries to run away to Europe to be artists. A self-help guru takes McGuirk gambling to make money quickly. 
39 "Coffins and Cradles"  2003-05-25 313
On Halloween night, Brendon's stepmother gives birth at the same hospital where McGuirk is taken after suffering a heart attack. Jason goes crazy after eating too much candy.

Brendon is unhappy with the movie the gang is making, and joins the Skunk Scouts to dodge filming and marketing the movie with Jason and Melissa. Coach McGuirk has trouble returning swords he bought from a Home Shopping Channel while drunk.

The gang tries to make a movie for a video store contest, McGuirk tries to woo a waitress at a diner, and Paula's new hairstyle backfires.

Paula forces Brendon to reshoot one of his films when the neighborhood parents learn the script is riddled with sexually suggestive behavior and profanity.

The gang adopts a stray puppy who turns out to be nothing but trouble.

Brendon cheats on Mr. Lynch's test. Coach McGuirk is sentenced to traffic school and tries to cheat his way through. Jason can't get past the "stalker" phase of a relationship with a 5th grade girl, who thinks Brendon is the one with the crush on her.

Brendon accidentally scores a goal, which ruins the record of the opposing team's star goalie, Cho. McGuirk remembers his days as a Scottish Highland Dancer

Brendon, laid-up in his room with a broken leg, thinks that the man who just moved in next door may be a murderer. McGuirk trains to become a bartender.

Coach McGuirk loses his vision after having laser eye surgery. The kids make family trees for a school project. 
52 "Focus Grill"  2004-04-04 413
Brendon, Jason, and Melissa each film an ending for the first film they ever made together, and present them to a peer focus group (Walter, Perry, Fenton, and Junior). Coach McGuirk tries to build a grill in Paula's back yard.
