[edit] Munkkivuori

A metro station with 0,5 km of tunnels dug in bedrock was constructed in the early 1960s in Munkkivuori. No metro line has ever reached this station, and none of the extensions planned would utilize it.[1]

[edit] Notes

  • Note 1: The only station on the Helsinki Metro that has an English name that is different from its Finnish name is Central Railway Station (Rautatientori).
