This page is a list of cities, towns, villages, etc., that have at least some of their streets viewable in Street View mode, a feature of Google Maps. Many of these cities are considered "suburbs" of cities that get a "camera icon" when viewed at a low zoom level by Google, but, would generally not really be considered a suburb of that city in most cases. Cities listed on this page are marked as cities on level nine zoom on Google Maps. Due to the nature of Google Street View, this page will change frequently

[edit] Outside the United States
To this date, no cities outside of the United States have been released, though image cars have cleared Canadian customs on film. The Detroit images are available, but those on the Peace Bridge are not available. Additionally, the skyline of Windsor, Ontario is visible across the river from certain images in Detroit[1].
Canada It was leaked onto Wikipedia that the Toronto area (including Hamilton and Mississauga) would be released in early April 2008, as well as Vancouver, and Windsor, ON would be added onto the Detroit icon. Google then released different cities on March 27, 2008. It was speculated that more cities would be released on April 9, 2008, but no cities were released on that day. Google has obtained images for the Canadian cities of Toronto, London, Windsor, Ottawa, Quebec, Montreal, Winnipeg, Charlottetown (including the Confederation Bridge), Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver and Whistler, and is working to censor the faces of people and license plates shown in the images.
Australia Various cars have been spotted in Australia, particularly in Melbourne.
New Zealand In New Zealand, local media have reported seeing Google cars filming major cities since December 2007.
Japan Toyota Priuses are used in Japan, and have been pictured in Tokyo.
Italy Recently, in Italy, cars have been spotted around Rome and Milan.
Poland One car has been spotted in Krakow, Poland, which can currently be viewed using Google's competitor EveryScape.
[edit] Future U.S. Cities
Google has been working with the US government to check the images of various cities that have already been collected for security sensitive people and places. These include the cities of Washington, DC and Baltimore. These areas contains security-sensitive sites. When it is eventually released, it may have parts that are blurred or completely omitted, as some images already are. Google Streetview's competitor Everyscape released images of Washington, D.C. on April 7, 2008[2]. These images allow users to view the U.S. Capitol and many other highly-secured buildings, but not the White House.
