Legendary Galactik Football player Aarch returns to his home planet Akillian in hopes of forming a new team to compete in the Galactik Cup and revive the planet's glory days. Aspiring footballer Rocket is amazed to learn that Aarch is his uncle, but his father Norata is not so pleased at his brother's unexpected arrival and a cold welcome leads to Aarch doubting whether his plan is such a good one after all. Meanwhile Micro-Ice runs into trouble with local gangster Bellow and it's up to D'Jok, Thran and Ahito to bail him out. |

Aarch begins training but finds team unity is a bit lacking. On discovering Rocket's exceptional passing skills he convinces Norata to send Rocket to join the team on one condition. If the Aarch's team loses their match with the Red Tigers Rocket must give up football. Meanwhile on the other side of the Galaxy the Flux Society and General Bleylock of Technoid both have more than a passing interest in Aarch's team. | |||

The team name and line-up is decided as the kids play a friendly match with the Wambas, and some are more happy about line-up than others. Artergor's machinations lead to Tia getting hurt and worse, perhaps removed from the team for good. Aarch's old friend and nurse Dame Simbai joins the team as medical officer. Pirate leader Sonny Blackbones makes a discovery. | |||

The Snow Kids play their first competitive match against Artegor's Red Tiger's The winner of the match will represent Akillian in the next Galactik Cup, but without Tia and the Breath the Kids have little chance of victory. Rocket is chosen as Captain while Sinedd causes more problems on the pitch with his selfish play. | |||

Revitalized by Tia's return, the Snow Kids play the second half of the match against the Red Tigers. D'Jok develops the Breath of Akillian just in time to score a crucial last minute goal. The match's aftermath brings fresh surprises as Sinedd is recruited by Artegor to play for Akillian's old rivals, Team Shadow. Bleylock begins his own quest to get hold of the mysterious Metaflux. | |||

The Snow Kids arrive at Genesis Stadium, the enormous Space Station where the final rounds of the Galactik Cup will be played. Despite Aarch's words of wisdom on the need for team-work and keeping a level head the team can't help but be distracted by the luxury and media attention that surrounds them. How can they concentrate on preparations for their match against the Wambas when D'Jok is displaying his resentment towards Aarch, Tia is focused on finding Rocket's mother and Mei is starring in her own shampoo commercial? Is Micro-Ice the only one capable of keeping a cool head? | |||

Micro-Ice gets a new crush. Mei learns to say no to her mother and now it's Rocket's turn to help Tia to resolve her issues with her parents. Corso updates Clamp with regard to Sonny, D'Jok and the Metaflux. | |||

D'Jok continues to debate with himself whether or not to obey Bleylock and throw the final when he is interrupted by Sinedd, who seems to know more than he should do about the whole situation. D'Jok agrees to an unofficial duel in the stadium, in the hopes that if he wins Sinedd will reveal what he knows about his father. They play a game of one-on-one no-holds-barred Galactik Football, pitting the Breath against the Smog, with the first to score ten goals the victor. However before a winner can be decided they are interrupted as Sinedd collapses and has to be carried off the field, apparently suffering from the same Smog Sickness that affected Aarch years before. Aarch attempts to woo his old team mate Adium. Rocket and Tia's kiss has put a strain on their relationship both on and off the pitch. Bleylock finds a way to use Sinedd in his plans for galactic domination. |

The Galactik Football Cup Final has finally arrived. Corso and the Pirates ally with Duke Maddox of Technoid to rescue Sonny from Bleylock. As their loved ones watch from the stand, the Snow Kids face the Shadows one last time. Aarch learns the truth about D'Jok and Sonny, but will he be to late to stop his star player from throwing away their chance at the cup. | |||

Its the second half of the Snow Kids VS Wambas match and Ahito takes Yuki's part as goal keeper. In the closing minutes Mark manifests the breath for the first time and helps the Snow Kids win 3-2. After Sonny tells them about the fake video file, the League conclude that Rocket used the flux in a genuine emergency, and clear him of all charges. | |||

During the Shadows VS Pirates match, Bleylock launches his weapon at the Shadows' homeworld, destroying the Smog, and leaving evidence that the Pirates are responsible. Without the Smog the Shadows lose 7-2, and because of Sonny's suspicious behaviour he is wanted for questioning. Meanwhile, Mark takes the Snow Kids down to the Netherball sphere to see Rocket. | |||
