Fred his obsessed with a Chinese puzzle Madam Butterfly gave him. Since he plays that game all night long, Anemone Worrynaut, the school psychologist, mistakes Fred's behaviour with the symptoms of depression. Since Fred looks more blasé than ever, she is afraid that his attitude will have repercussions on all of his classmates. So Anemone decides to turn the school into a nice, happy environment. Pink walls, whales sounds... To worsen things, Worrynaut tells the entire school that it's Fred's fault. With everyone (even his mother) against him, Fred must find a way to return the school back to normal by convincing Anemone.
Meanwhile, Balthazar, the armless sciences teacher, loses his pet monkey Claude. No longer able to perform his daily routine, Balthasar becomes more and more depressed but no one seems to care, especially the school psychologist.

Fred is organizing an exhibit of Anette's work. Fabienne convinces him to shoot a horrible gory promotional clip to stir up interest in the exhibit.

Fred is disgusted by the omnipresence of advertising, but when he takes a theatre course to learn how to express his feelings, he ends up agreeing to be in an ad.

Fred promises Anette to help her paint a mural, but because of an indiscretion he commits at school he is forced to take care of his elderly Japanese neighbour, Madam Butterfly.

While GG is busy with his new love interest, Fred is forced to look after the Clown Shop by himself. Things quickly become even more complicated when a corrupt heath inspector turns up.

Fred wants to go camping with his friends, but a misunderstanding results in the entire Leblanc family coming along for the trip. The kids get lost and Fred realizes the importance of family.

While Fred desperately tries to avoid suffering his basketball team's initiation ritual, hoards of squirrels invade the school in a desperate search for food.

Fred hopes to use the opportunity of Fabienne's party to charm Anette, but Manny and Johan put alcohol in his juice and the rest of the evening goes by in a blur.

Fred meets a cute redhead. It's love at first sight until Fred discovers what lies beneath the sweet mask of his new love.

To get Fred to clean up, GG tells him Anette is coming to see his room. After discovering his friends deception, Fred wants nothing to do with his friend and both suffer the consequences.

Fred and Anette are counsellors in a summer camp. Fanny the psycho is there too, but she claims to have developed amnesia and to have forgotten about Fred. But Fred suspects she’s up to something.

It's Christmas. Fred is fed up with the traditions instituted by his mother and the holiday's commercialism. He decides to escape the family party.

Fred wins a session of cosmetic surgery at a fair and gradually convinces himself that with a few cosmetic touch-ups he'll win Anette's heart.

An unscrupulous director does a reality show on Fred, inventing all kinds of juicy tidbits about his life to attract viewers.

It's Halloween. After wishing she would disappear, Fred hears that Anemone has been killed in an accident. He's overcome with guilt and sees her ghost everywhere.

Fred gets a job in a café and gets to know Tamara. To the point that when the owner decides to fire her Fred rushes to her defence. Not only getting her job back, but fuelling a budding romance between them.

To raise money for a dinner with Tamara, Fred accepts a ridiculous job as a mascot for the Clown Shop.

To avoid conflict with Tamara, Fred uses a Benji technique that consists of answering all questions by switching "yes" and "no." A move that works at first, but soon things begin to unravel.

As predicted in a fortune cookie, Fred experiences a series of unpleasant mishaps, even ending up in the hospital, where he has a revelation.

While Tamara is nursing her heartbreak, Fred is in the hospital where the C-Baldy bacterium threatens to divest him of every hair on his head. As if that wasn’t enough, Blaise suspects there is a mysterious nurse sneaking about his room.

Fred rescues Nino from being harassed by Johan and Manny. Nino decides Fred is his friend for life, but GG is jealous and doesn't like it a bit.

Fred has a crush on a roller-blading counsellor who works at the same park as he does. Carol attributes his sudden liveliness to his consumption of illicit substances.

Fred is at a summer camp where it seems kids are encouraged to do nothing at all, but he quickly realizes that something strange is going on.
