[edit] Romeo Convault
Romeo is the son of Macau Convault. Romeo became very worried when his father left for the Hakobe Mountains and didn't come back in the time Macau told his son he would be back. Romeo made a request to Makarov for the guild to go to the mountains and search for his dad, but it was denied. Natsu felt sorry for Romeo so he went to the mountains along with Happy and Lucy and rescued Macau. Eventually they were reunited and are now back together again. He appears again when he caught Natsu, who everyhad thought had been transformed into a lizard by Macau, although it was revealed that the lizard was actually his own father.
[edit] Igneel
Igneel is a dragon and the foster father of Natsu. He adopted Natsu after finding him wandering alone in the forest he lived in. Igneel taught Natsu many things including how to write, different cultures, and even the style of fighting that Natsu uses called Dragon Slayer.[1] For some still unknown reason, one day Igneel just disappeared without saying a word to Natsu. To this day, Natsu still dreams of meeting Igneel again. It also unknown if the last name Dragonil also belongs to Igneel. The same day he vanished, the iron dragon who taught Gazill vanished, and Lucy's mother died.
- A small running gag is when ever Natsu tells someone who he learned his magic from they are shocked that Igneel (a dragon) taught Natsu (a human) "Dragon Slayer" (a way to kill dragons)
- Natsu's nickname Salamander can also refer to Igneel.
[edit] Kaby Melon
Kaby Melon is a rich man who resides in Shirosume Town. He posted a mission on the guilds request board to retrieve a book called Daybreak from the Duke of Evaroo's mansion. The reward for this mission was originally 200,000J but he raised the reward to 2,000,000J after Natsu and the gang accepted the mission. He tells everyone that he just wants them to go to the Duke's mansion, find the book Daybreak and destroy it. Though why he wanted the book destroyed wasn't revealed until the end of the arc. It turns out the book was written by Kemu Zaleon who was a very famous writer. Kemu was forced to write the book by the Duke in a solitary room for three years. The book was considered to be a piece of garbage that should never have been written in the first place. With Kemu's pride as a writer shattered he was released from the solitary room. He then chopped off his right hand in front of his family and vowed to never write another book again. Kaby began hating his father for abandoning his family to write such a bad book. Shortly after Kemu committed suicide. Kaby felt sorry for hating his father and saying all the bad things he said to his father. He felt the need for the book to be destroyed so his father's pride can be renewed. Once Natsu and the gang defeated the Duke and brought the book back to Kaby he was getting ready to destroy it. But it turned out that his father, who was once a mage, put a spell on the book. Once the book reached Kaby's hands the spell was broken, and all the letters in the book were rearranged telling the true story that Kemu wrote. The title Daybreak was also rearranged to its true title Dear Kaby. The book was a bunch of letters made out to his son Kaby. Natsu then said that they won't be accepting the 2,000,000J reward, seeing as how they really didn't accomplish their mission of destroying the book.
- The mansion Kaby and his wife were first seen in wasn't actually their own place. Instead Kaby borrowed it from a friend to make himself look big.[2] Which also means that Kaby isn't a rich man like he first seemed to be.
[edit] Zekua Melon
Zekua Melon was a very famous and well known author who wrote under the pseudonym Kemu Zaleon. Zekua was also a very good mage before he became an author. He was forced by the Duke of Evaroo to write a story with the Duke as the main heroic character of the story. Zekua originally refused to write this book, but the Duke is a man with a lot of power in Shirosume Town and threatened to revoke his families citizenships. Without the citizenships his family wouldn't be able to find jobs, so he had no choice but to accept. Since Zekua rejected the Duke's request once made him angry, so he made Zekua write the book in a solitary cell. Zekua stayed in that cell for three years writing that book. His time in that cell writing the book crushed his pride as a writer. Once he was finished writing the book he was released and he then returned home. With his pride broken he chopped off his right hand vowing to never write another book ever again. Some time later Zekua committed suicide. The terrible book that Zekua wrote named Daybreak was actually called Dear Kaby. Once he was finished with the book he put a spell on it that rearranged all the words so it will be seen as a different book than it actually was. Once the book was returned to his son the spell was broken, revealing that the book was actually all about his son, whom he missed so much during his three years in the solitary cell.
[edit] Bob
Bob is one of the Guild masters seen at the regular meeting in Clover during the Eisenwald Guild arc. He's the Master and proprietor of the Blue Pegasus Guild. Bob's appearance is very flamboyant in nature and he can act very womanly at times. He wears a pair of angel wings on his back as well as a skimpy lingerie outfit with tons of make-up on his face. Many of the things Bob does while he makes an appearance can be considered homosexual in nature. Such as ogling over a male character or calling one of them cute.[3] So far Bob was never shown without a smile on his face, even when Dark Mage Zeref threatened to eat the souls of everyone that laid in his wake. Bob also seems to be very good friends with Makarov. Blue Pegasus (as shown in Loki's flashback) seems to a all womans guild (save for Bob himself). Also in Loki's flashback shows the only time he is seen with anger on is face.
- Bob might seem to be very womanly, but it has been proven that he's a man. When he was first introduced an ♂ was in parenthesis' next to his name.[4]
[edit] Goldmine
An old woman who is the master of the Quatro Cerberus Guild. She was seen at the regular meeting in Clover during the Eisenwald Guild arc at the same time Bob was introduced. Goldmine seems a bit bossy at times and she doesn't seem to like to have too much fun. Not much else is known about her, nor about the guild she runs. Goldmine wears a lot of spikes, including a spike belt around her hat and a spike choker around her neck. She's also seen sporting sunglasses.
[edit] Bobo
Bobo is a sailor and the son of Mocha. When Natsu and the gang were looking for a seafarer to give them a ride to Garuna Island no one was willing to hear their request, but once Bobo heard that they were mages he eagerly offered them his services. On the ride to the island Bobo tells them a little about the curse on Garuna Island and he shows them that he himself was affected by the curse. Once Garuna Island comes into view he mysteriously vanishes. When the team meet the Garuna Island mayor Mocha they find out that Bobo was his son, and that he had to be killed by his fathers hands when Bobo became a real demon. The Bobo they saw on the boat was actually a ghost, which was why he suddenly vanished.[5] At the end of the Garuna Island arc Bobo returns to the village and everyone is shocked to why he was alive. He proclaims that a demon can't be defeated with a mere stab wound to the chest. When Gray asks why he vanished from the ship Bobo reveals a pair of wings which he used to make his quick getaway. He got away from because he was the only one who regained his memory and was afraid of everyone else because they were acting human.
[edit] Mocha
Mocha is the Garuna Island Mayor and the father of Bobo. He posted the S-class mission that asks for someone to come to Garuna Island and remove the curse that's plaguing the island. Mocha offered 7,000,000J and the Sagittarius gold key for successful completion of this mission. He had to kill his own son Bobo because he turned into a real demon courtesy of the Moon Drip. Mocha is emotionally torn because of the incident with his son and wanted the Moon to be destroyed, no matter how hard or impossible that could be. He almost sacrificed his life when Leon's underlings attacked the village because he wouldn't leave Bobo's grave, bu was saved by Virgo. When Bobo's grave was destroyed by the Poison Poison Jelly Mocha went into an anger fit. At the end of the Garuna Island arc Mocha regains his memory and is reunited with his presumed to be dead son Bobo. Like his son he possesses huge bat-like wings.
[edit] Ur
Ur is a very powerful ice mage that trained both Leon and Gray. While Ur and her first apprentice Leon were walking through a town where the evil demon Deliora had just rampaged they found one lone survivor who happened to be Gray. From that day on Ur had trained both the boys to become ice mages and even began seeing them as her own two sons. Gray was unsatisfied with the way Ur was teaching them to do ice magic and wanted to learn powerful spells instead of just the basics. When news that Deliora was nearby Gray quickly left Ur and Leon to go to where Deliora was to try and defeat him alone. Ur quickly went after Gray and tried to protect him, but in the process she lost her right leg. She then made a leg out of ice to replace her lost leg.[6] Ur told Gray to take the unconscious Leon away from the battle area because it was to hard for her to defeat Deliora while protecting her pupils at the same time. Leon at this time awoke from his unconsciousness and was disappointed with Ur for her uncertainty in defeating Deliora. Leon then tried using the Iced Shell spell which is a very strong but very dangerous spell since it destroys the casters body. Ur stopped Leon from using the spell by using a spell that temporarily froze him. She then proceeded using the Iced Shell spell because it's the only spell that would work against Deliora. When Ur used the spell she permanently froze Deliora in a giant block of ice for all eternity, but it also changed her body into ice for all eternity. When the spell was almost complete she told Gray to tell Leon that she died. She told him to say that because she thought that if Leon knew the truth that he would spend his entire life trying to reverse the Iced Shell spells effect on the caster.[7] After Deliora was sealed and Ur became ice for all eternity Gray told Leon what she told him to tell him. Leon then became enraged with Gray who now blames him for Ur's "death" since it was Gray who challenged Deliora in the first place. It's been revealed that Ur is indeed alive as the ice keeping Deliora sealed. When Deliora crumbles and the ice surrounding it flow away into the ocean Gray says that Ur will always be alive as the ocean. It has been revealed that Urtear is Ur's daughter and Sieglein commented that if Ur was alive, she would most likely be one of the Ten Holy Mages.
[edit] Polyushko
Polyushko is an old acquaintance of Makarov's. She hates humans, so she lives peacefully by herself inside of a giant tree that's located in a forest east of Magnolia. Why she hates humans so much is not yet known. Polyushko is a healing mage and she's a specialist when it comes to healing wounds with magic. She also seems to have good knowledge when it comes to magic and the different varieties it comes in. The sick and defeated Makarov was under her care after he was defeated by Aria in the Fairy Tail siege of the Phantom Lord guild.
