The following is a list of ECMAScript engines.
- DMDScript — Digital Mars ECMAScript engine
- FESI — A Free ECMAScript Interpreter implemented in Java Platform
- InScript
- JavaScriptCore — derived from KJS, for Safari
- JScript — the engine used in Internet Explorer, and one component of Trident (layout engine)
- JSDB — Javascript for Databases, a javascript interpreter supporting a lot of libraries based on SpiderMonkey.
- Jsext — a Javascript interpreter for server-side applications based on SpiderMonkey.
- KJS — the engine used in Konqueror, and one component of KHTML
- futhark — the ECMAScript engine of the Opera web browser versions 9.50 and higher.
- linear_b — the ECMAScript engine of the Opera web browser versions 7.0 to 9.50, exclusive.
- Narcissus — JavaScript implemented in JavaScript, used on top of SpiderMonkey
- NGS
- NJS — a successor of NGS
- phpjs — a Javascript Interpreter for PHP.
- QtScript
- Rhino — one of several JavaScript engines from Mozilla, using the Java Platform
- ScriptEase — C and Java ECMAScript engine, tools, and shell from Nombas; now owned by Openwave
- Simple ECMAScript Engine
- SpiderMonkey — JavaScript engine in Mozilla Gecko applications, including Firefox
- SquirrelFish – the new script engine of WebKit
- Tamarin — an ActionScript and ECMAScript JIT engine.
- wxJavaScript — Javascript for writing GUI, server, client applications in JavaScript, based on SpiderMonkey.
