- The Pitchforks -- all-male, founded in 1979; Nominated for Best Song, Best Album, and winner of Best Arrangement according to The Contemporary A Cappella Society [2]
- Speak of the Devil -- all-male, founded in 1991
- Out of the Blue -- all-female, founded in 1980; Nominated/won many times over the years for "Best Album," "Best Song," "Best Soloist," and "Best Arrangement" according to The Contemporary A Cappella Society [3] and featured in the Best of College A Cappella series.
- Lady Blue -- all-female
- Déjà Blue -- all-female
- Sapphire -- Christian, all-female
- Rhythm & Blue -- co-ed, founded in 1992; selected for Voices Only 2006, BOCA 2007, and BOCA 2008. Nominated for Best Mixed Collegiate Solo and Best Mixed Collegiate Arrangement according to The Contemporary A Cappella Society [4]
- Something Borrowed, Something Blue -- Christian, co-ed, founded 1969
- Kol Kachol -- Jewish, co-ed, founded in 2008; Duke's newest a capella group
