The following is an episode list for the Disney animated television series DuckTales. The series stars characters from the Scrooge McDuck universe as largely created by Carl Barks, along with several newcomers who were introduced for the show. Several episodes of the show are based loosely off of stories written by Carl Barks. The series first aired in syndication on September 18, 1987, with a five-part special, and began airing regular episodes on September 21, 1987.

On March 11, 1990, the 100th and final episode of DuckTales was aired, although the series enjoyed a long following of reruns on the Disney Afternoon, The Disney Channel, and later Toon Disney.

Although the series is no longer shown in certain markets, all sixty-five episodes from season one plus ten episodes from season two are currently available on DVD in Region 1 (North America). Twenty episodes are also available on DVD in Region 2 (Europe).

Originally aired as "The Treasure of the Golden Suns", a two-hour TV movie. The introduction of the series, as Donald Duck joins the Navy and sends Huey, Dewey, and Louie off to live with their uncle Scrooge McDuck. Meanwhile, a mysterious man named El Capitán busts the Beagle Boys out of jail in order for them to help him steal an awkward treasure map in Scrooge's possession.

After foiling the Beagle Boys, Scrooge and his nephews decipher the strange marking on the map, which leads to a sunken treasure ship in Ronguay. However, Flintheart Glomgold (in his animated debut) and El Capitán are out to stop them at every turn. The story is loosely based on legends of Spanish Galleons being found in the SW American desert and Northern Mexico.
