1492 - 1800 Flag Of Santo Domingo of Spain This flag was representing the island of Hispañiola island and then when France took over of Haiti, it only had the Dominican Republic side became the Province of Santo Domingo Of Spain

1940 Flag of Azua The Blue represents the landscape, the White represents thata it was found by Spain. The star represents the Provincial Capital and the Stripes represents the 2 province that separated from the province that were Benefactor, José Trujillo Váldez.
1947 Flag of Baoruco The Blue is for the Lago Enriquillo, the White is for Peace and the Green for Sierra Baoruco and Sierra Neiba.
1965 Flag of Barahona The Blue represent the Bay of Neiba, the Red represents the founding in the 1500's, and the White represent its religion of Roman Catholic
1981 Flag of Dajabón The Blue stripe represent its great economy, the Red stripe represents its battles for Independence and the White stripes represents its frontier with Haiti

1992 Flag of San Cristóbal The Brown represents the people with African heritage, the Yellow represents the people with the heritage of the Canary Islands. The Brown line in the Yellow represents that in the provincial capital, the constitution was sign there.
2002 Flag of San José de Ocoa The Gold represents the Sierra de Ocoa. The White Line represents that this province is the Province of Ecology .
1968 Flag of San Juan de la Maguana The Blue represent freedom, The Red represent the founding by Nicolás de Ovando, the White reprsents its Roman Catholic religion. The river represent Río San Juan and Río Yuna del Sur.
1975 Flag of San Pedro de Macorís The Blue represents the Bay of San Pedro, The White line represents the sport of Baseball that is played in the Province and the Red line represents the founding of the city in 1494.
1502 Flag of Santiago The Red means by the founding of the city of Santiago de los Caballeros in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, The White represent its battles which happen in the 1800's of Palo Hincado and other battles of Independence. The shield represent the city of Santiago de los Caballeros and the ruins that the city has.
1941 Flag of Santiago Rodríguez The 3 colors represent the motto of the province La Cuna de la Restauracion.
2001 Flag of Santo Domingo The 3 colored cross means that provincial name come from the Country's Capital. The Navy Blue represents the Río Ozama and the Dark Red represents the Battle of Independence.
