  4. ^ Shanghai Zobon renamed to Shanghai United F.C. before the 2006 season. Shanghai United F.C. then merged with Shanghai Shenhua before the 2007 season. Shanghai Shenhua retained its name while Shanghai United F.C. was dissolved.
