This is a list of football (soccer) players who have played for Central Coast Mariners FC. It includes players that have played at least one match, either as a starting player or a substitute, for the Mariners in the A-League competition and the finals series. The Pre-Season Cup competition is not included.
The A-League is the premier domestic association football competition in Australia. It was founded in 2004, and the Central Coast Mariners were one of the eight inaugural clubs to participate in the new competition.[1] The A-League competition consists of a regular season and a finals series of the top four teams, with the premiership being awarded to the club who finishes on top of the table in the regular season, and the championship to the winner of the Grand Final.[2] Central Coast finished as runner-up in the 2005–06 season, losing in the Grand Final to Sydney FC.[3]
Central Coast have had seven players compete for them who have been capped at international level – six Australians and one Scot. This includes the current record-holder for goals for the Australian national team, Damian Mori, who played eight matches for the Mariners in the 2006–07 A-League season and two in the 2007–08 season.[4]

[edit] Notable players
The Mariners have secured the services of a number of internationally-capped players since forming prior to the 2005–06 A-League season. This has included six members of the Australian national team, including three (Tony Vidmar, Michael Beauchamp, Nik Mrdja) who played in the Socceroo team whilst playing for Central Coast.[7][8] Central Coast have also had one Scottish international, Ian Ferguson make a short-term appearance.[9]
- Ian Ferguson (2005–06), who played nine international matches for Scotland between 1988 and 1997. This included six FIFA World Cup qualification matches, spanning the 1990, 1994 and 1998 qualifying series.[10]
- Michael Beauchamp (2005–06), who has played nine international matches for Australian national team since debuting in 2006.[11] He was a member of the 23-man Australian squad at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, however did not make an appearance during the tournament.[12] Beauchamp signed a one-year loan contract with the Bundesliga club 1. FC Nuremberg at the end of the 2005–06 A-League season.[13]
- Damian Mori (2006), who was capped 45 times for the Australian national team between 1992 and 2002. Mori, a striker, is the all-time top goal scorer for the Australian national team, with 29.[14] He holds the record for most appearances (430) and most goals (235) in Australian domestic competition, predominantly from the now-defunct National Soccer League.[15]
- Tony Vidmar (2006–08), who played 75 matches for the Australian national team between 1991 and 2005.[16] Vidmar, the third most capped Australian ever at international level,[17] played in four FIFA World Cup qualifying campaigns; most notably, his converted penalty during the shootout against Uruguay in the qualification match for 2006.[18]
- Sasho Petrovski (2007–present), who has made two appearances for Australia.[19] Debuting in 2001 against Japan, he has scored one goal for the national team.[19] Petrovski was a member of the Sydney FC team that defeated Central Coast in the inaugural A-League grand final.[20]
