[edit] Daichi Sumeragi

This relative newcomer to the Beyblade scene made quite the entrance. After using hurricane force winds to get Tyson's attention, this young upstart proved himself by defeating numerous opponents and earning himself a seat on the newly formed BBA Revolution team. It is unknown why he was not in the anime.

[edit] White Tigers

[edit] Lee (Rai)

Main article: Lee Wong

Lee is an intense Beyblader who has little time for incompetent combatants. He's quick to anger and speaks his mind, and also has a tendency to push himself a little too hard. Lee can often harness his passion for Beyblading into the strength and resolve required to win, and is also able to predict and follow his opponent's every move. From Ray, Lee also learns that teamwork is primarily about helping each other. Lee's Bit Beast is Galeon.

Mariah may not be as intense a Beyblader as Ray or Lee but she more than makes up for that by being there when her team needs her. She has an obvious crush on Ray and they also hint they had a history together, as in the first series when Ray lost his Driger bit beast. Her cheerful attitude and support of her teammates makes her a valuable addition to the White Tiger X team. Mariah's Beyblade is Galux.

[edit] Gary (Gaou)

Main article: Gary Tan (Beyblade)

Gary is a giant amongst Beyblader's, literally! This behemoth may love Beyblading but sometimes it's overshadowed by his love of food. Gary has even been known to throw a battle or two because of his insatiable appetite. And even though Gary is a giant, he pretty much keeps to himself. Under that immense physique is one of the gentlest creatures on earth.

Kevin loses to Tyson twice, and is never able to get revenge in the finals of the Asian tournament. His special attack is the Crazy Monkey attack. When Ray left, this made Kevin so angry he attempted to kill him, failing. He's slightly selfish, and is a bit of a prankster.

He has a somewhat brotherly relationship with Gary.

BEYBLADE

GALMAN

Kevin's bit-beast Galman is a monkey.

SPECIAL ATTACK

Crazy Monkey

[edit] Master Tao

Master Tao is the coach - or "sensei" - of White Tiger X. He makes his first and only appearance in G-Revolution, though according to Rei and his teammates he was their teacher long beforehand. Tao is something of an oddity; while he clearly knows a great deal more than he lets on, his strange "words of wisdom" leave much to be desired, and his odd and somewhat perverted nature often conceals how wise he truly is.

[edit] All Starz

Main article: All Starz

[edit] Michael Parker

Michael is a true jock, meaning that no matter what sport he attempts, he's always the best. Michael loves baseball, but when it comes to Beyblade, Michael is always more flash than substance. Michael is a great team member to have around, but on occasion his jealousy of Max and Rick tends to get in the way. Michael's Beyblade is Trygle.

BEYBLADE

Trygle

Michael's unofficial bit-beast Trygle is an eagle.

SPECIAL ATTACK

[edit] Eddy

When it comes to 'slammin, Eddy's your man! Eddy lives and breathes basketball 24-7. He wears the gear, is never far from an outdoor court and rarely travels anywhere without his basketball. As a Beyblader, Eddy fits right in with the PPB All Starz, that's because of his competitive nature. BEYBLADE

Trypio

Eddy's bit-beast Trypio is a scorpion

SPECIAL ATTACK

STING SHOOT

[edit] Emily York

Emily is a skilled tennis player and, like any true jock, she was born with a competitive instinct. She is full of energy, is great with strategic analysis, and is always ready to take on anyone in a Beystadium. Emily's Beyblade is Trygator.

BEYBLADE

Trygator

Emily's bit-beast Trygator is an alligator.

SPECIAL ATTACK

WATER SMASH

[edit] Steven

Steve first appears in 'It's all relative' beside Eddy when the Bladebreakers were caught looking around the PPB research facility. Steve is very arrogant and loves to gloat that they were the better team. Also, proving he has a fiery temper when things don't go his way or when he loses a beybattle. His bitbeast, Tryhorn takes the form of a bull which is just as powerful and temperamental as Steve is.

He disappeared completely in Season 3, except for a small appearance at the very end of the series which was cut out of the English dub. It is revealed in the ending that he had lost a leg, explaining his absence during the season.

Steve's official bit-beast Tryhorn is a bull

[edit] Rick Anderson

Rick was raised in a in a pretty rough neighborhood where, everyone tried their best to make a decent life for themselves. Rick chose the way of the Beyblade, and making it to the World Championships was one way of setting a great example. At first he is mistaken as a person who feels that working with a partner is unnecessary to win Beybattles. Rick later comes to the realization that no one Beyblader can be as powerful as many working together as a team. He also carries his stereo around whenever he Beybattles. It provides him with extra motivation, and also tends to distract his opponents.

BEYBLADE

SPECIAL ATTACK

[edit] Judy Tate (Judy Mizuhara)

A researcher and scientist of the BBA. Also Max's mother, she does beyblade research at an American BBA facility. And also the All Starz coach. She has put together the All Starz.

[edit] Dark Bladers

Main article: Dark Bladers

[edit] Cenotaph (Cairo)

The mummy looking member of the team. Cenotaph was defeated by Enrique, of the Majestics. Cenotaph's bit-beast is Sarcophalon, a mummy that can kill. He was the first of the Dark Bladers to come in contact with the Bladebreakers, and the one that scares Kenny the most.

[edit] Lupinex (Howling)

The were-wolf of the team. Lupinex was defeated by Johnny. Ironically, he has a hot temper like Johnny does. His bit-beast is a werewolf known as Wolfstorm. Lupinex is Sanguinex's little brother.

[edit] Sanguinex (Blot)

The vampire of the team. Sanguinex was defeated by Robert, and is the 'leader' of the team. His bit-beast is Drac-Attack, a vampire. He is the older brother of Lupinex.

[edit] Zomb

The Frankenstein/zombie looking member of the Dark Bladers team. Zomb was defeated by Oliver of the Majestics. Zomb's bit-beast is a zombie-like creature named Shamblor.

[edit] Majestics

Main article: Majestics

[edit] Robert Jurgen (Ralf Jurgen)

Robert is the leader of the Majestics. Robert is one of the most skilled beybladers in the World, and the best in Germany. When Tyson first battled Robert, Robert crushed Tyson within the span of five minutes. Robert's bit-beast is Griffolyon. In the manga, Robert's Griffolyon beyblade is a "Hidden Spirits" model that transforms into his beyblade like the Takara/Hasbro version.

His special attack is Wing Dagger. Robert's bitbeast is rumoured to be set in armour, which makes it very hard for another beyblader to defeat. His bitbeast is also very large in size. Robert first meets and defeats Tyson on a cruise ship, after defeating a mass amount of amateur Beybladers first.

He despises anything 'uncouth', and is very upity. Robert is the descendant of a long reign of knights and is proud of his hertitage. His family own a huge castle in the middle of Germany, surrounded by acres of forests. He believes that team work is unnecessary and only for the weak. He realises that you have to be strong to work as a team when the Majestics are defeated by the Bladebreakers because Robert doesn't know how to work with others. Until he is defeated by Tyson, Robert believes that once you defeat an enemy in a Beyblade match, they are trash and no longer exist, and henceforth a rematch is impossible. But Tyson changes the way Robert feels about Beyblading and they become friends.

[edit] Johnny McGregor

The all sarcastic Johnny is the second strongest of the Majestics. He is a true Scots man. When it comes to joking around, he'll probably shoot you down with a sarcastic comment. He takes no prisoners in battle both in and out the beystadium. Although he acts like a big tough guy, he has a golden heart, as proven in "A Lesson For Tyson"...he also has a very short temper. His bit-beast is Salamalyon. He is from Scotland and plays Tennis and Golf as a side sport to beyblading. He CANNOT play chess...losing 7 times in a row to Robert.

Johnny is also a descendant of knights, and like the rest of the Majestics, is very proud. He is supposedly known as "The Gladiator of Glasgow" due to his phenomenal Beyblading skills. He loses to Kai during the Majestics vs. The Bladebreakers battle because Kai is given advice (much to his displeasure) by his team mates, while Johnny lacks advice because he only knows how to work as an individual.

He was the last of the Majestics to be introduced. Kai was his Bladebreaker rival. Makes a cameo appearance in the third season of Beyblade when he discovers that Barthez Battalion were cheating. He informs Tyson of this, but tells him that it is too late to report them, because if they were disqualified it would unbalance the entire championships too late in the game.

[edit] Enrique (Giancarlo Tornatore)

The playful Enrique is one of the strongest members of this team. Enrique appears to be a bored rich Italian kid, who prefers to spend his time with his many girlfriends. Enrique is the member who loves to kid around, and look for ladies to hang out with. Enrique is the champion of Rome. His bit-beast is one of the largest, Amphilyon, and is also incredibly powerful, but weak at high altitudes. Although Enrique is a skilled Beyblader, he prefers to spend time around girls and take them shopping, as well as playing numerous pranks on people.

He comes from a long line of gladiators, and is seen Beyblading is his family armour. His bitbeast is a huge two headed lizard-like dragon, and although it is very powerful, Enrique lacks control over it. Enrique is seen as being very unfair towards his bitbeast, often mistreating it, and when Amphilyon turns on Enrique and attempts to attack him, he is saved by Tyson and his Dragoon.

He is often seen with Oliver, and it is believed the two are best friends, despite their differences.

[edit] Oliver Polanski (Olivier Boringer)

Oliver is the first member of the Majestics that the Bladebreakers meet, in the Eiffel Tower. The second member seen of the Majestics team. Oliver's beyblading style includes very graceful and beautiful movements and attacks, representing an artsy nature. Oliver is the national champion of France. Oliver is not only an amazing Beyblader, but he is also the son of a French millionaire, and an amazing French chef. Oliver is a huge art fan, and often paints himself. He sometimes spends his whole days at the Louvre museum, which he has closed just for himself.

He battles Tyson at one point, and the match ends in a tie. He also gives Tyson advice before his Beyblattle against the Demolition Boys. He is supposed to be the nicest and more friendlier member of the Majestics team, and even prefers a buffet for Tyson which he made himself. Oliver is overall good mannered, polite and graceful, and is very well known in Paris.

His bitbeast is Unicolyon, and takes on the form of a unicorn.

[edit] Demolition/Blitzkrieg Boys/Team Borg/Neoborg

Main article: Demolition Boys

[edit] Boris Balkov (Borcloff)

Voiced by Takehito Koyasu

Boris is nothing short of a two-faced, cunning, and vile man with a lust for power and money. Despite the fact that he is an abbot running an abbey (a monastery or church), his acts are anything but religious and good-natured. Boris seems to be quite the opposite of the priest he poses as, mocking the crosses on the towers of the abbey with every vicious thing he does. He has little compassion for failure and will not think twice about disposing of any boy in the abbey who does not live up to his standards. He is strict not only with the children but with the employees as well-- the scientists in the laboratories and the gunmen who guard the property-- but he does, however, show small shreds of patience with the stronger and more reliable young men that he favors, such as Tala and Kai. Boris can also be described as something of a "control freak," as he has cameras located in every room and corridor of the abbey. Because of this fact, many fans are suspicious about what else Boris has done, and is capable of. Boris makes it a point to intimidate others. Through intimidation, he can exact power over those being intimidated, and this is most often how he wins in any situation he faces. Every young man at the abbey, as well as all the employees, respect Boris out of fear, all with good reason. He is indeed malicious in intent and lies a great deal, but he makes it work for him.

[edit] Tala (Yuriy Ivanov)

Tala has been trained from a young age to be a Beyblader, even so far as being genetically enhanced to ensure victory over his opponents. In his youth, he became close friends with Bryan along with Kai; they all trained and raised together as close friends, having come from a life on the streets together. After discovering that Boris is the mastermind behind the BEGA league, (Season 3 - G-Revolution) Tala rallies his fellow Blitzkrieg Boys in an effort to thwart Boris' master plan. Being Kai's partner isn't the best situation he could be in, but at least he knows he won't have to baby sit him. Tala's Beyblade is Wolborg, an ice wolf with rather powerful attacks. In the G-Revolution, he has enough power to tie with Daichi, member of the BBA Revolution.

Trivia

  • It seems that Tala was a lot stronger in season one and less stronger in G-revolution where he lost so easily against rick.
  • Tala never did get his revenge on Garland
  • When Tala loses to Garland, It is not shown what happens to Wolborg, however it may be suggested that Kenny fixed Wolborg with the H.M.S system, as Wolborg was released to the public in H.M.S form.
  • The anime does not reveal anything of Tala's past, yet the manga goes into slight detail.

BEYBLADE

Wolborg 4

Tala's bit-beast Wolborg is a wolf.

SPECIAL ATTACK

Novae Rog

[edit] Bryan (Boris Kuznetsov)

Bryan was specially trained by the Biovolt Corporation. He grew up with Tala as his closest friend but because of his experiences, he tends to be extremely wary of trusting anyone other than his fellow teammates. It is said that there have been hints in the original anime that Bryan had been beaten and raped as a child which lead to his great distrust of people, sometimes even his team mates. With Kai's return to the team, Bryan is forced to take the back bench with the Blitzkrieg Boys. His Beyblade is Falborg. After Bryan and Spencer's humiliating defeat to Garland, they both disappear and are never seen again through out the rest of the anime, wtih the exception of the Japanese version, where an epilogue clip shows all of the Blitzkrieg Boyz at a tournament. It is shown that they never did visit Tala in the hospital which could actually question the friendship they have with each other.

BEYBLADE

FALBORG

Bryan's bit-beast Falborg is a falcon

SPECIAL ATTACK

Stroblitz

[edit] Ian (Ivan) Papov

Ian is a cunning little mischief-maker who would enjoy nothing more than blowing someone apart. One phrase that comes to mind when describing Ian is "trigger-happy," and indeed he is. It is rare to see Ian without his rifle; he carries it everywhere with him despite the fact that it is nearly larger than he is. He does a lot of the dirty work, emerging first and taking opponents by surprise while the rest of his team comes in after and finishes things off. Being younger than the others, he tends to have more energy, but is quite skilled for his age. He most often combines forces with Tala, taking orders from him and carrying them out, and he is very obedient to the team coach and trainer Boris.

Ian's bit-beast Wyborg is a snake.

[edit] Spencer (Sergei)

Like Tala and Bryan, Spencer has been trained from a young age to be a Beyblader. Spencer is large in stature but is the strong silent type. His Beyblade is Seaborg. Spencer probably says the least in the series while taking this into account that he has only had brief appearances, however, when he says something he always has something meaningful to say, for example "evil never goes away, it just wears a new face".

BEYBLADE

Seaborg 2

Spencer's bit-beast Seaborg is a whale.

SPECIAL ATTACK

Stramolyu

[edit] Team Psykick

[edit] Gideon (Sierra McQreiggar-Gideon)

The leader and instructor of Team Psykick. His real name is Sierra McQreiggar-Gideon. He was working for his old boss, Dr. Zagart. Gideon is just evil henchman of Zagart's, and watching the heroes, The Bladebreakers, by the computer from Gideon's HQ and Gideon's Battle Tower. This failure, he dies while the Psykick building collapses on him, after the match between Kane and Tyson for the Battle Tower. He had thought of the plan to capture bit-beast with bit-beast, after other plans had failed and other Team Psykicks members. They finally settled as: Kane, Goki, Salima and Jim.

[edit] Kane Yamashita

This Beyblader is quite cunning and is a born leader. Kane was a fierce competitor, and rivaled even Tyson's prowess. Now working together with Cyber Dragoon, even Tyson will be hard pressed to come out on top. The more this Blader fights alongside his Digital Bit Beast, the more the two grow in strength and power.

Voiced by Yuuki Tai

BIT BEAST

Kane's Bit Beast, Cyber Dragoon, was made from the battle data of Dragoon and draws on its extra strength from Kane.

BEYBLADE

CYBER DRAGOON

SPECIAL ATTACK

PERFECT DELETE

[edit] Gouki

Gouki is one brute of a Beyblader. He is not known for his intelligence, but with Jim doing the thinking for him, it usually doesn't matter. He is one of the strongest Beybladers ever to compete. This natural strength is the only thing that can control the powerful Cyber Dranzer. He uses his strength to his full advantage whenever possible.

Voiced by Yasuhiro Fujiwara

[edit] Salima

Salima was originally against the idea of using digital copies of the Bladebreakers Bit Beasts. She tried to convince the rest of her team that using them was a bad idea. Gideon saw her going against the idea of using the cyber bit-beast so he used her to battle against Kane to get control of them. She used Cyber Driger in battle. She appears to love Kane but has also shown signs of liking Ray a little as well.

Voiced by Hikaru Ikeda

[edit] Jim

This cunning tactician is quite skilled at analyzing opponents weaknesses and using them to his advantage. Jim was the first Psykick that acquired a Cyber Bit Beast. He then convinced his teammates to switch over to this new technology. Combining his analytical mind with Goki's brute strength, the pair make a dangerous combination, both in and out of the Beystadium. His Cyber beast is Cyber Draciel.

Voiced by Ayaka Yamashita

[edit] Saint Shields

The Saint Shields are an elite team of Bladers who learn from their mistakes, are massively strong, and never give up. Their only disadvantage is seemingly being able to not trust anyone apart from themselves. Due to their Bit-Beasts, it can be assumed they are from Africa. They also help the blade breakers during their battle against Team Psychic

[edit] Ozuma

This leader of the Saint Shields is a force to be reckoned with. His Beyblading skills are quite surprising, and he has a knack for pulling a few tricks out of his sleeve that keep Tyson on his toes. Ozuma's cunning tactics and masterful use of his Beyblade lead him to defeat Tyson in their first battle and wins many more battles against Tyson. Their final battle ends in a tie. His bit-beast is Flash Leopard. In the manga, he owns a Flash Leopard during his first encounter with Tyson and a Flash Leopard II during the second. He is also known as Mr. X during the tournament when he first encountered Tyson.

BEYBLADE

Flash Leopard

SPECIAL ATTACK

CROSS FIRE SCARED FIRE

[edit] Dunga

Dunga is a giant of the Saint Shields. His strength is rivaled only by his temper. When he competes, he unleashes his fury on his unsuspecting opponents. His brute force often secures the victory for this beast of a Beyblader, but his fierce emotions sometimes cloud his judgement leading to unnecessary losses. His bit-beast is Vortex Ape. His Beyblades are Vortex Ape and Vortex Ape 2

[edit] Joseph

A 14 year old kid, Joseph is Mariam's younger brother and is quite stealthy. He's prowess in sneaking into and out of enemies hideouts usually puts him on the front lines. His ability to use shadows and darkness to his advantage make him extremely difficult to track. This agile Blader's key advantage is his lightning quick reaction times. The hit and run tactics he uses leaves his opponents wondering what hit them. However, he was mercilessly defeated by king and Queen-the notorious Parts Hunters. His bit-beast is the elephant, Vanishing Moot

[edit] Mariam

Mariam has a wild spirit, with an even wilder sense of humor. Her sarcasm often gets under Dunga's skin and she rarely lets an opportunity to give him a jab slip by, especially when he's fighting any battle. She is unpredictable, and often leaves her opponents baffled from her unique moves. Her ability to confuse her opponents leaves them vulnerable for attack. She often teams up with her brother Joseph to take on their more difficult opponents. Together, they are a formidable pair. Her bit-beast is Sharkrash. She was so absorbed in her destiny to seal the sacred bit-beasts that she forgot about the beyblading spirit. Only after her battle with Max, did she realize the true spirit of a Beyblader. She also appears to have feelings for him.

[edit] King & Queen

[edit] King

King is a mysterious parts hunter and is well known amongst the Beyblade crowd. His skill with a Beyblade has allowed him to battle unsuspecting beybladers, and steal valuable parts from them after he wins. This has given him the advantage by having the best parts available to him in any given situation. Stealing parts has given King and his twin Queen a notoriety that is almost legendary, and it is because of this that Doctor K hires them to help her capture the four Sacred Bit Beasts. Later at the Beyblade Championships, King is finally defeated by Tyson. His bit-beast is Uriel.

[edit] Queen

Like her partner (and twin) King, Queen is a notorious Beyblade Parts Hunter. She has been Beyblading alongside King for years now, and together they have been unstoppable. With loads of parts stolen from Beybladers around the world, Queen's Beyblade is never left in the dust, until her blade was crumbled to shreds, during her match against Max. Her bit-beast is Gabriel.

[edit] Barthez Battalion

Main article: Barthez Battalion

[edit] Coach Barthez

Jean-Paul Barthez is the coach of the Barthez Battalion. He's an abusive coach, who is only interested in showing off his Beybladers. He uses whatever method it takes to make them, and ultimately him, look good. His team in the Japanese version is called the Barthez Soldiers. He is Boris' agent. Using cheats and tricks, Barthez gets his team entered in high level competitions. But later awaking his true instinct, Miguel and his team begin to stand up to Coach Barthez, ending with them firing and ruined him as their coach. (Voiced by: Ted Cole)

[edit] Miguel

Miguel is recognized as the team leader, but is still bossed around by Barthez. Like the rest of the team, he was trained to Beyblade by Barthez and also got his blade from him. His bit-beast is Dark Gargoyle.

Tyson was able to teach Miguel a valuable lesson when he battled him in the World Championships about playing the game fairly. (Voiced by: David Berni)

[edit] Mathilda

The unofficial little sister of their team. Though Mathilda questioned Coach Barthez, she still followed his orders due to fear. She fears Barthez the most out of her team mates. However she started thinking on her own after Miguel and the others started standing up to Barthez. Even going as far as firing him. Her bitbeast is Pierce Hedgehog.

[edit] Aaron

Aaron usually doesn't question Barthez's orders, regardless of the consequences, as he isn't the type of person to stand up for himself. His bit-beast is Rushing Boar and his special attack is Spin Charge. Aaron is a fairly complacent Beyblader. Not very quick to get angry. The problem is, the more he finds himself acting against his morals, the more he seems to question it. He just doesn't have the nerve to go up against Barthez on his own.

[edit] Claude

Claude, like Miguel, was trained to Beyblade by Barthez himself. Miguel is usually the one to encourage him, as long as coach Barthez doesn't have any "suggestions". His bit-beast is Rapid Eagle. Like Miguel, Claude was personally trained in the way of the Beyblade by Barthez himself. His admiration and respect for his friend Miguel's skill in the Beystadium is quite profound. When his game is off, a little encouragement from Miguel usually helps to give him the extra edge he needs to come out the victor. That is of course, when Coach Barthez doesn't have any 'suggestions'.

[edit] F-Dynasty

[edit] Julia Fernandez

Raul and Julia are twins. However, Julia is dubbed the "older" sister as she was born minutes earlier, and she usually bosses around her brother. She's also less shy than her brother. Trained by Romero from a young age, Julia and Raul's incredible teamwork is reflected on their beyblading skills. In performances, Julia is usually the centre of the spotlight. Their skill with a beyblade is a beautiful thing to behold. Julia's bitbeast is Thunder Pegasus. Mariah and Julia have similar personalities and this causes their personalities to clash at times.

[edit] Raul Fernandez

Like his twin, Julia, Raul was raised by a circus troupe called Romero. Because of this background, Julia and Raul have an amazing ability to work together. However, since their moves mirror each other, they can be pretty predictable when battling alone. Being minutes younger than Julia, Raul is usually being bossed around. Wanting to prove himself, Raul proposed to fight alone against the Barthez Battalions. Julia, opposing at first, later agreed. Raul's bitbeast is Torch Pegasus. The original name of the team is F Sangre.

[edit] BEGA League

[edit] Brooklyn Masefield

Brooklyn has never been known to practice Beyblading in his whole life, as if he were born knowing how to beyblade so well. Because he is so gifted in Beyblading, he often makes sarcastic remarks to his opponents in a Beyblade match, often asking for them to try harder to make it more interesting for him. He's only ever lost to Kai and his battle with Tyson resulted in a (suspected) draw. He usually waits the battle out, as he's almost unbeatable. However, he has an extremely powerful attack if it is necessary. His bit-beast is the all powerful King, Zeus. His power is so immense that it harms Kai and puts him in a lost state when they first battle. Brooklyn's special attack is King of Darkness. After Kai defeats him, Brooklyn turns a little insane because he has never been defeated in his whole life, and is totally unaware of what it is to lose. He vows to get revenge on Tyson for what Kai did and trains intensely with Hiro for his upcoming match against Tyson. During his battle with Tyson, Brooklyn some how manages to grow wings like his bit beast and he manages to create a wormhole in the sky which sucks everyone into his mind. In the end, he has a mental breakdown and almost defeats Tyson, until the combined spirits of his friends transformed his beyblade. It is only after Tyson explains to Brooklyn what the true meaning of the Beyblade is, that Brooklyn calms down and the chaos ends. It is never revealed who won that match in the series. He's mostly a calm guy and he just wants to relax, that shows how over confident he can be. Voiced by Soichiro Hoshi

[edit] Crusher (Moses)

Even though Crusher only started to Beyblade later in his life than your average blader, he was quickly trained by BEGA. Crusher is large in stature, and has strange markings that look similar to scars on his face. Although Crusher can seem intimidating, he is actually a nice person, and this is proven when he tells Boris that he doesn't want to cheat by destroying Tyson's Beyblade before his match with Brooklyn so that Tyson has to forfeit and BEGA will win. He is soft at heart, and this is proven when his ill sister gives him a doll she made of him, and Crusher cries saying that he will win his Beyblade match against Ray for her. Crusher wins the match, in the process destroying his beyblade (it was fixed though). His reason for being a Pro Blader is to earn enough money to help his little sister, Monica, gets the medical attention she needs. His bit-beast is Gigars. Voiced by Masachika Takatsuka And his special attack is dark thunder

[edit] Garland Siebald

Everyone in Garland's family is a professional athlete, and he decides to continue the tradition in Beyblading to prove himself just as has been done by his siblings. He joins BEGA with the hope that it can make him just as famous as his siblings. Garland is shown to have great power, as he defeats Bryan and Spencer both at once with ease. During his Beybattle match against Tala, he injures Tala so badly that Tala falls into a coma and is admitted to hospital. Garland loses his match against Tyson however, and then gives Tyson advice to watch out for Brooklyn because of his powerful mind. Garland's family have laid their hands on a book called Thebesian Principles of Victory. The one who knows these cannot lose! Garland usually endures his opponent's attacks before making a single powerful attack. His bit-beast is Apollon. Voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya

[edit] Ming-Ming

Ming-Ming is BEGA's mascot, and is both a pop star and a great Beyblader. She even combines singing and blading to help her concentration and distract her opponents. Her bit-beast is Venus. Some of her moments hint that she may have split personalities. During her matches, Ming-Ming has an uncanny ability to "transform" into an older, more intense version of herself (Known as Queen Version in the Japanese series). In her Queen form, she appears to age and grow taller; her eyes and hair are slightly different. She returns to her normal, young form when the match is done. She has a secret crush on Tyson in the end. Voiced by Aya Hirano

[edit] Mystel

Mystel appeared out of seemingly nowhere and is able to practically fly up mountains. His attacks are fast and unpredictable and can come from anywhere. His bit-beast is Poseidon. He is very qualified for the BEGA League. He floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. Voiced by Koki Miyata

[edit] Others

[edit] Alan

An old friend of Max Tate, and a hired kid used to steal a powerful piece of rock. He was double crossed, and wasn't able to use the power extracted from the rock. His blade was called Impulse.

[edit] Brad Best & A.J. Topper

The official Beyblade announcers for all BBA tournaments. Like Dizzi, their voices were created by the American version of the anime. They do not exist in the original Japanese version, even though they are present in the English-anime, they are never seen.

[edit] D.J. Jazzman (Blader D.J.)

The BBA official referee and in the original, announcer/commentator. He is voiced by the actual Blader D.J., who referees beyblade tournaments in Japan. In the Beyblade epilogue, Daichi has become the BBA official referee in his place. He has a special Bit Beast that is only seen in the Beyblade game on game cube.

[edit] Doctor B (Dr. Rourke Bender)

The co-leader of team Psykick. His real name is Dr. Rourke W. Bender. Doctor B is now the henchman of Gideon's. He develops the beyblades that the Psykick team uses, and recruits new members. He dies with Gideon while the Psykick building collapses, by electrocution.

[edit] Doctor K

The beautiful scientist that works for Dr. Zagart. Now, Doctor K is the real villain, just like Doctor B. She has to capture the four Bit-Beasts of the Bladebreakers. She was then fired by her head-Dr. Zagart before the World Championships, for disloyalty in handing over the extracted bit-beasts from the rock. It had always been debated that she was Ray's mother; there's a bit of resemblance between them.

[edit] Dr. Zagart

Zeo's father and the co owner of Psykick. He is trying to steal the 4 Bladebreakers sacred beasts to revive Zeo into a real boy.

[edit] Gordo

This Blader was hand picked by Zagart to be the perfect teammate for Zeo. His Beyblading skills are more than a match for the Bladebreakers. With the power of a Rock Bit Beast at his disposal, this competitor will be causing quite the stir in the World Championships. His bit-beast is Orthrus. Orthrus's most useful attack is the Twine Spire attach which freezes the opposing bit-beast leaving it vulnerable to any attack. Voiced by Hisayoshi Suganuma

[edit] Marcos & Sanchez

These two were only seen in Beyblade V-Force, and only in one episode. They faced Kai and Ray in the quarter-finals and they tried to use their "musical ability" to distract and annoy their opponents. However, they did not have any success. They were only created for the purpose of filling up the eighth available position in the quarter-finals.

[edit] Stanley A. Dickenson (Master Chairman Daitenji)

The head of the BBA. He is the most important man in the sport. In V-Force/2002 it was revealed that he and Dr. Zagart were Beyblade research partners. He is also the one who forms (and later renames) the bladebreakers.

[edit] Voltaire (Souichiro)

He's Kai's grandfather, and BIOVOLT's director (only in the anime). He wants to have the best bladers in the world, which is where the Demolition Boys come into play. It is uncertain what happens to him after Tyson and Tala's match.

[edit] Wyatt (Yuuya)

A huge fan of Kai's from his school. He was later used by Gideon's scientists to test Cyber Dranzer. However, his body was unable to withstand the power of Cyber Dranzer on a fight against Dunga. In the original Japanese version, he died after this fight, but in the American version they do not reveal anything, believing that a death was "too heavy" for children who should watch the anime.

[edit] Zeo

This robotic replicant of Zagart's son (who died when hit by a truck while playing his violin). He is as developed strong Beyblading skills through vigorous training methods and a strong desire to be the best. Zeo temporarily joins the Bladebreakers after helping Tyson out of a jam. When his father reveals his true identity, he throws his Beyblading morals away in the hopes of defeating Tyson and his friends and becoming a real boy. His bit-beast is Cerberus.

Voiced by Hisayo Yanai

In the Manga, Zeo was actually a boy named Leon, Zeo's younger brother, who was tricked to thinking that he was Zeo. The real Zeo was hit by a truck and killed shortly thereafter, Zagart was saddened and wanted to use the power of the sacred beasts to revive Zeo, though it didn't work out. After Leon's and Tyson's match in the manga, he goes off to live his true life with his father. In the anime his blade (before Cerberus) was called Xeronix (pronounced zeronix). In G-revolution there is a short scene that shows Zeo standing by the window even though he was suppose to be dead at the end of V-force.
