List of Bay Area Rapid Transit stations

This is a list of stations on the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) metro system in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Stations in bold are designated as official transfer stations by BART. Stations in italics are current termini.

Located at 16th Street and Mission Street in the Mission District of San Francisco.
Located at 19th Street and Broadway in downtown Oakland.
Located at 24th Street and Mission Street in the San Francisco's Mission District.
  • Ashby           (red, orange)
Located at Ashby Avenue and Adeline Street in the southern part of Berkeley.
  • Balboa Park                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Located on the south side of San Francisco's Balboa Park between Ocean Avenue, Geneva Avenue, and Interstate 280.
  • Bay Fair                (orange, blue, green)
Located next to Bayfair Center shopping mall in San Leandro. Serves southern San Leandro and parts of Hayward.
Primarily serves Castro Valley and parts of Hayward.
  • Civic Center                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Located on Market Street near Civic Center and the United Nations Plaza in downtown San Francisco. Officially renamed Civic Center/UN Plaza Station in 2005 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the United Nations. The United Nations Plaza and Office Building are the surface of the station, and the UN Charter was signed in San Francisco in 1945.
A pedestrian bridge connects this station with the Oakland Coliseum and the Oakland Arena, while the AirBART bus service takes passengers from here to Oakland International Airport. Also has a connection with the Capitol Corridor.
  • Colma                (red on weekdays daytime, blue weeknights and weekends/holidays, yellow)
Primarily serves Colma, but has a SamTrans express bus connection to Pacifica.
Primarily serves Concord.
  • Daly City                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Primarily serves Daly City. This station serves as the terminus for all lines but the blue line, which continues to SFO Airport/Millbrae.
Located on Shattuck Avenue in the heart of Downtown Berkeley. This station is a few blocks away from UC Berkeley.
Located in the median of Interstate 580 on the border of Dublin and Pleasanton. Serves Dublin and Pleasanton residents and employees of the Hacienda business park as well as commuters from nearby suburbs and the Central Valley.
Primarily serves the northern part of El Cerrito near the border with Richmond.
Located next to the El Cerrito Plaza shopping center, it primarily serves the southern part of El Cerrito, the northern half of Albany, and Kensington.
  • Embarcadero                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Located near the Embarcadero in downtown San Francisco, and includes connections to attractions such as Pier 39 and AT&T Park.
  • Fremont           (orange, green)
Primarily serves Fremont.
  • Fruitvale                (orange, blue, green)
Serves the Fruitvale District in Oakland.
  • Glen Park                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Located near the edge of the Glen Park neighborhood in San Francisco.
  • Hayward           (orange, green)
Primarily serves the center of Hayward.
Primarily serves Lafayette.
  • Lake Merritt                (orange, blue, green)
Located on Oak Street near Oakland's Lake Merritt and Chinatown, next to Laney College. BART's administrative building and operations control center are located on the station's west side.
  • MacArthur                (red, orange, yellow)
Located on MacArthur Blvd. in the center of State Route 24 in Oakland.
  • Millbrae           (red on weekdays daytime, blue weeknights and weekends/holidays)
Located in Millbrae, this station has a cross-platform connection to Caltrain, the first of its kind west of the Mississippi River.
Located at Montgomery Street and Market Street in San Francisco's Financial District.
Located near Sacramento and Virginia Streets northwest of downtown Berkeley.
Located on Port Chicago Highway in the northern part of Concord, this station has bus connections to Martinez.
Located at 12th Street and Broadway next to the Oakland City Center in downtown Oakland.
Primarily serves Orinda.
Located on the western portion of Pittsburg on the border with Bay Point. Serves Pittsburg and Bay Point residents as well as inward commuters from suburbs eastward.
Primarily serves northern Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill.
  • Powell Street                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Located at Powell Street and Market Street in downtown San Francisco, California, near Union Square. This station is nearby to Moscone Center as well as many downtown hotels.
  • Richmond           (red, orange)
Located in Richmond, with connections to Amtrak's Capitol Corridor.
Serves the Rockridge district in Oakland.
  • San Bruno                (red on weekdays daytime, blue weeknights and weekends/holidays, yellow)
Located at the Tanforan Shopping Center in San Bruno.
Located in the International Terminal at San Francisco International Airport near Boarding Area G. Includes connection to the airport's AirTrain system to connect with the other airport terminals.
  • San Leandro                (orange, blue, green)
Serves the city center of San Leandro.
Located near Tennyson Road in the southern part of Hayward.
  • South San Francisco                (red on weekdays daytime, blue weeknights and weekends/holidays, yellow)
Primarily serves South San Francisco.
Primarily serves Union City, but also serves some Peninsula residents via the Dumbarton Express.
Primarily serves Walnut Creek, with free bus service to the city's downtown.
Currently under construction, to be located in the median of Interstate 580 on the border of Dublin and Pleasanton just past Interstate 680. Serves Dublin and Pleasanton residents and employees of the Hacienda business park as well as commuters from nearby suburbs and the Central Valley.
  • West Oakland                     (red, blue, green, yellow)
Serves the neighborhood of West Oakland in Oakland.
