List of Australian Football League grounds

This List of Australian Football League grounds lists every ground upon which a senior VFL/AFL game has been played. Australian rules football is played on a grassed oval, according to the specifications in the Laws of Australian football, with average dimensions of 170m×135m. Most Australian rules football grounds are also used for other sports, such as cricket, rugby, soccer or the the Olympic games, and for events such as rock concerts or exhibitions.

The following grounds are the main grounds used by each team. Below is the names of each team who has had the ground as a home ground, and the years.

† Melbourne home games at the 'Gabba are exclusively against the Brisbane Lions, and are part of a deal between the two clubs whereby Brisbane pays Melbourne. This deal between Melbourne and Brisbane ended in the 2007 season and is yet to be re-negotiated.
