One night, Astro Boy's dad, Papa, reads a story about a swan princess named Princess Lollipop. After the story, Astro Boy was about to go to bed, when suddenly, he heard a crash. It came from a robot swan, who was exhausted after flying around the universe. The robot swan happens to be Princess Lollipop, who was running away from Hulabaloo Land. The robots of Hulabaloo Land turn against Dr. Magico and send him to justice. Meanwhile, Princess Lollipop flew happily to space, waving goodbye to Astro Boy and all the innocent robots she made friends with. | |||

One morning, Astro Boy delivers to Dr. Elefun a letter from Shangri-Le. Dr. Elefun knows that the letter came from his friend Professor Ludwig Von Holstien. But Dr. Elefun refuses to go to Shangri-Le because of its dictator, Chancellor Rudolph Hatter, nicknamed the "Mad Hatter" by his enemies. Later, an automatic car arrives at Dr. Elefun's house and forces him to go to Shangri-Le. Astro Boy follows the auto-car but loses it. Dr. Elefun, meanwhile, is threatened by a very strong robot. Astro Boy shows up just in time to destroy the evil robot. Dr. Elefun is delighted to see Astro Boy, and the two return home, thinking about Platina and Holstien. | |||

Passengers of the S.S. Taurus, the world's largest spaceship, are about to blast off for the moon. Among the passengers are "Lucky" Louie the Lug, a criminal, and his pursuer, Astro Boy. The spaceship takes off before Astro Boy is able to take Lucky off the ship. A meteor crashes into the rocketship, forcing the passengers to evacuate. | |||
"The Artificial Sun" | |||
One night, the S.S. Viking is attacked by a giant tentacled fireball. A rescue team is unable to save the melted ship and its passengers, and are even attacked themselves. The freak attack causes a worldwide panic. The entire Pacific Ocean except Fire Pot Island is now being threatened by the robot sun, which is controlled by the demented film producer, Elial Belial. | |||
"Deep Freeze" | |||
Mr. Pompous and Astro Boy reassemble a robot who turns out to be the adoption mother of an orphan, Sharkey Dirk, who, unknown to her, has become a notorious criminal who preys on robots. They return her to her home in the North Pole where Sharkey and his masked gang rob the Robot Bank and kidnap Mr. Pompous. Mr. Pompous is tied down into a booby-trapped chair that will electrocute him if Astro Boy breaks the door down. But the young robot rescues him by using his fist to pound his way through the wall and smash the deadly chair. Astro Boy chases away the robbers and captures their leader. Sharkey confesses that his lifelong hatred of robots began when robots destroyed his mother. Finding that she is indeed alive causes the grateful youth to reform his ways. | |||
"One Million Mammoth Snails" | |||
On a mountain, Hardy Rugged was getting ice water for Jim, his friend. Suddenly, he saw something and was frozen in fear, while Jim was attacked. Meanwhile, at the Institute of Science, Dr. Elefun reads a newspaper article about the same accident. So, Dr. Elefun, Astro Boy and two pilots went to the mountain to find Jim, unconscious, and Hardy, frozen in fear. At Professor Nutty Fruitcake's lab, Hardy was in bed, shivering, while Dr. Elefun tells the whole story about the accident. | |||
"Gangor" | |||
Gangor is a monstrous robot centipede created by Patch, an underworld scientist who wants to sell the creature to criminals for ten million dollars. While waiting for a buyer, the mad scientist is allowing the creature to roam free to destroy ocean liners. Astro Boy is called to fight the deadly robot. | |||
"Agent 3-Z" | |||
The president of Utopia has a dark secret: his twin brother is the demented serial killer "Agent 3-Z" who is assassinating heads of state and opponents of his powerful "primitive gas" weapon, and now wants to rule the world. The president's son has enlisted Astro Boy to protect his father, but is unaware of the man's secret. | |||
"The Haunted Ship" | |||
Space-based uranium smugglers are moving their cargo in a submarine disguised as a haunted ship. Astro Boy is sent to find the ship which is threatening ships in the Indian Ocean. The mission proves difficult for the robot hero for he has recently convinced Dr Elefun to install in him a heart so that he may know true human fear. | |||
"The Time Machine" | |||
Astro Boy and Mr Pompous help a boy time traveler from the 23rd century search for his father who himself is traveling through time to collect ancient species for a menagerie. | |||
"The Cosmic Giant" | |||
The earth is hit by a great meteorite which turns out to be the disassembled pieces of a giant robot. Once the robot is put back together, a secret agent reactivates it and the robot proceeds to wreak havoc. Dr Elefun quickly calls in the military, but they are soon mowed down by the enormously powerful machine. When the robot starts to convert the Earth's air into poison gas, Dr Elefun reluctantly agrees to allow Astro Boy to fight it. But the gigantic machine proves too much even for Astro Boy's strength. To defeat the monster, the young robot is forced to resort to stealth. | |||
"Toxor, the Mist Man" | |||
In space, a scientist, Dr Bolt, is possessed by Toxor, the leader of a group of alien Mist Men who seek to conquer Earth. Using Dr Bolt's body, Toxor proceeds with his plan to cripple human society and prepare for the Mist Men's invasion. Among the humans that come under their control is Astro Boy's friend Specs who has suddenly gone on a crime spree. | |||
"Satilite R-45" | |||
Merchant spaceships using the Satellite R-45 space port are being attacked by ruthless space pirates, and President Cronipuss is under heavy pressure to take action. The pirate leader, Trickem, is suspected to be on R-45 itself, so the Institute of Science appoints Astro Boy as a secret agent to root him out. Trickem, however, manages to escape capture. Astro Boy goes in pursuit, but his efforts are threatened by a deadly asteroid storm. | |||
"Sea Serpent Isle" | |||
Sea Serpent Isle is an underwater mining operation that uses slave labor captured at sea by a serpent-like robot. One of the captives is a princess who has been sending out cryptic distress messages in bottles, some of which have now been found by Astro Boy. But when the young robot tries to locate their source, he himself is captured and put to work in the mines. This episode opens with a demonstration of Astro Boy's Seven Magic Powers. | |||
"The Deadly Flies" | |||
A string of mysterious deaths have left authorities clueless. Inspector Gumshoe, however, thinks Astro Boy is responsible and has the young robot apprehended. But the real culprit is Mr X who is breeding radiation-mutated poison horseflies in his quest to conquer the world. Among his assistants are the five Bobo robots who yearn to flee their wicked master and lead good, honest lives. | |||

Mr. Pompous and Astro Boy gave Astro Girl a tour at the city. Astro Girl suddenly disappeared a few minutes later. Astro Boy and Mr. Pompous went to find her, while she was playing with a NO PARKING sign. Astro Boy and Mr. Pompous found Astro Girl. When Mr. Pompous yelled at Astro Girl for being bad, Astro Boy saw a crowd nearby and asked him to look around. | |||

Astro Boy and Dr. Elefun were going to a meeting when they encounter a person suffering a heart attack. This person has been the latest in a series of unexplained deaths that have been occurring. Nipper and Tuck, two newspaper reporters, are sent by their boss to take a picture on the victim at 44th main street. | |||

Abracadabra, a robot magician, was framed by J.C. Tenpercent and his robot twin, HocusPocus. It's a magical battle for Astro Boy in this episode! | |||

The reason why this episode is lost, because in 1963, Osamu Tezuka was disappointed of this episode because in the magazine version of this episode, Jetto died while bravely fighting the talking dinosaurs' robot. This episode takes place at Lake Foggy Bottom, where five jewel thieves secretly camp out. All of them were attack by a mysterious stranger. They said it was a dinosaur. The second victim was the masked marvel at Foggy Bottom Hotel. The third were the construction workers. The fourth are the cows at a farm. Astro Boy encountered the dinosaurs and their robot. The army came to "distract" the giant turtle robot while Astro Boy got inside its mouth and reflected the proton ray. Even though Lake Foggy Bottom was dried up, Astro Boy saved the world from the talking dinosaurs. | |||

This episode begins when a rocket crashed at the park. The police soon discovered that there's no one inside. Meanwhile, Scoop McGuire, a newspaper reporter received a letter in his coat pocket. That night at 8:00 pm, Scoop McGuire, along with a doctor, Dr. Groomer, a jazz singer, Flossy Pipes, and a young boy, armed with a pop gun, Corky arrived at the crash site. Astro Boy, our robot her, told them that this is not Earth, but Planet X. | |||

An asteroid named Medusa, is on a collision course with Earth! The only hope is Astro Boy, along with Dr. Elefun, Suzy Bright Eyes, and Doctors, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. | |||

A scientist threatens the people to stop the construction or else they'll have to deal with his animal friends. Looks like Dinny and Astro Boy picked the wrong animal kingdom! | |||
40 | 40 | "The Abominable Snowman" | |
Dr. Elefun and a group of three Scientists made a 1.0 landing at the Himalayas, which is a good start. They camped near a mountain, but they were attacked by an abominable snowman! The Snowman attacked the base camp and kidnapped Dr. Elefun. Astro Boy arrived the base camp and rescued the group, but was too late for Dr. Elefun. Meanwhile, Dr. Elefun was taken to a mysterious city, only to be ruled by a scientist named Sam Caeser. Dr. Elefun wrote a story in his record book but failed to escape when Brutus spotted him in a bag. Just when Sam Caeser was about to give Dr. Elefun a punishment, Astro Boy destroyed the snowman, who happens to be a robot, and rescued Dr. Elefun. After Astro Boy defeated Caeser's robot army, He and Dr. Elefun with his record book, escaped from a cave-in while Sam Caeser was killed. So now, Dr. Elefun will wrote a new one since his old record book was burned and Astro Boy, Dr. Elefun, and the group were saved. |
Episode 41: Deadline to Danger: A water bomb accidentally landed on Earth and is planned to explode at any minute! Astro Boy can keep a secret, if he didn't get in Snoopy Scoop's way!
Episode 42: Isle of Mystery: In the beginning of the episode, we see a book, containing information about a group of islands known as the Boolaboo Islands. On one the islands is the mysterious stone statues. Meanwhile, Moe Mole was kidnapped by Corny J. Sneer, 2nd in command of Nikoteen's gang.
Episode 43: Ditto: Prince Upley plans to overthrow the robot president of Goshen. Will Astro Boy save Ditto from Prince Upley?
Episode 44: Cleopatra Part 1: Heart of Cleopatra: Has Cleopatra been brought back to life? Or is she a robot?
Episode 45: Cleopatra Part 2: Return of Cleopatra: Look who's baaaack? Cleopatra and Dr. Raburton are at it again in this episode!

Episode 54: The Man-Made Iceburg: This episode begins when Astro Boy was on his way home from the World Robot Congress. He noticed that an iceburg was moving fast, then he discovered that the iceburg is warmer. Astro Boy meets Dr. Harold Hart, a young scientist from Icelandia who happened to be the inventor of the artificial iceburg and an invention called the artificial fireball. They are unaware that Willy and Nilly are spying on them. The two men reported to their boss Doc Cheddar, who plans to steal the artificial fireball from Dr. Hart and bring warmth to Icelandia. Doc Cheddar paid Willy and Nilly $10,000 and visited King Feebo, ruler of Icelandia. He lied to the king that he was the one who invented the artificial fireball and will bring it to Icelandia under one condition: Doc Cheddar wants to marry King Feebo's daughter, Rosanna. King Feebo would rather refused but the big cheese forced him to agree.
Episode 55: Vampire Vale: One night, two travelers by the names of Tick and Tock were lost in the high mountains of Europe. The only stuff that Tock brought were a bunch of comic books, chewing gum and no map! They come upon a deserted town called Transmellvania, with windows covered with crosses and garlics. Little did the two friends knew that they were attacked by an evil man named Ray Sergum. Only Tock escaped but Tick disappeared with Ray Sergum. Could this be that the man is a vampire? The answer...YES! Mr. Pompous and our robot hero, Astro Boy later showed up and with Tock, they insvistigate the entire castle and found nothing but a picture of Dr. Elefun and Ray Sergum.

Episode 78: The Space Princess: One night, a hunter who is hunting for animals tells a story to Astro Boy about an eerie ghost at Witch Head Mountain. Is it an eerie ghost? No, It was a space princess named Luna Luna and her brother Dodo. While going to Witch Head Mountain, Astro Boy encountered a giant robot and was able to take him down. Inside Witch Head Mountain, he meets Luna Luna and became friends with her. Outside Witch Head Mountain, Dodo was getting some water for his sister, only to be brainwashed by the villainous hunter Villainous and became his henchman. Just when Dodo was about to capture his sister, Astro Boy was able to hold him off.
Episode 79: Mighty Microbe Army: An astronaut falls ill shortly after returning to earth. He is infected by intelligent microbes who are actually an extraterrestrial army waiting for their chance to invade and conquer earth. Astro Boy and Mr. Pompous must shrink to microbe size to save earth, but will they be able to succeed?
Episode 80: Horrible King Horrid: At the beginning of the episode, two men escorted Dr. Elefun to the plane. Dr. Elefun went to the association of Science to fix a robot named King Horrid. While Dr. Elefun was pursuted by some of Horrid's men, Astro Boy meets W. C. Faucet, head of the robot rebellion against Horrid, but were captured by Horrid's army. At a robot tournament, Dr. Elefun disguised himself as a competitor, only to encounter a robot lion. Just when Dr. Elefun thought that the robot lion was about to eat him, the robot lion asked Dr. Elefun instead of eatting him up. When Dr. Elefun told the robot lion that Horrid is a robot, the robot animals were about to gang up on him, but Horrid got away. While the robot lion told a robot bird to take Dr. Elefun to Horrid's headquarters, Astro Boy, Mr. Faucet and the others were taken prisoner and were about to be slaves to Horrid. Dr. Elefun rescued Astro Boy in the nick of time and gave him some jet fuel. Astro Boy was able to destroyed the machine while the others went after Horrid's gang. Astro Boy defeated Horrid and when Horrid's real inventor told him that Horrid didn't mean any harm, Astro Boy decided not to destroy Horrid, but to take him to the institute of science to make a new Horrid out of King Horrid.
Episode 81: Mystery of Amless Dam: This episode begins at the town called Amless. The news flash started when a robot kid named Peewee went to play with his friend, a human boy named Little Tommy. But when Tommy refuse to share his doll, Peewee pushes him, then apologizes. When Tommy's dad, Big Tom, saw what happened, he was so mad, chaos ensues throughout Amless, then a war between robots and humans began.
Episode 82: Galon from Galaxy: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Galon! Galon's back with a vengeance and there's a duel going on between him and our hero Astro Boy!
Episode 83: The Three Robotiers: When a great space sickness struck a major spacepost, it's up to Astro Boy, along with Un, Duex and Troix, to deliver the serum from the space pirates!
Episode 84: Brother Jetto: Astro Boy's brother Jetto, makes his first appearance in this episode! However he is clumbsy and gets himself into mischief!
Episode 85: Angel in the Alps: When Dr. Angus Muse makes no contact of Robots and Machines because Angelica's parent's death, Astro Boy disguises as a human to change his mind!
Episode 86: Magic Punch Card: When two doctors argue at each other, a punch card was invented to be more deadly than ever!
Episode 87: The Great Rocket Robbery: When the gold is stolen by Future, it's up to himself with Astro Boy to return it!

Episode 90: A Deep Deep Secret: At the underground world, The nation of Terra Firma and their leader, Queen Itchy Beller bids Columboo farewell. Columboo told Terra Firma that he's going to explore the new world, but Another nation called Poi Poi, with their leader the Green Queen, and Stormy Night laughed and ridiculed at them. They know that there's no new world, and there's nothing but rocks. Terra Firma (especially Queen Itchy Beller) knew that Columboo is their only hope. While Poi Poi laughed at Terra Firma, Columboo and a group of Queen Beller's soldiers traveled to the new world. For 101 days, they were very exhausted until they found the surface and met Jetto, Astro Boy's brother. They took Jetto as if they thought he's a native and journeyed back to Terra Firma.

Episode 101: Dangerous Mission: This episode begins when a representative of Halava tells the World Peace League that his country resigned from the league and will have nothing more to do with it. The whole world was shocked. Meanwhile, Dr. Elefun asks Mr. Pompous and Astro Boy to go to Halava on a dangerous mission. A prissy scientist named Dr. Quad was also called in. Astro Boy, Dr. Quad, and Mr. Pompous were able to get to Halava when they were encountered by a boy named Bobka. Bobka tells the trio that he is fighting the world because of the deaths of his parents. So, he joined the group. Meanwhile, A dictator named Ahmud and his men wrongfully accused a woman who is hanging her clothes to dry and arrested her.

Episode 103: Prisoners in Space: Astro Boy and Dr. Elefun were kidnapped and held hostage by Dr. Sowbelly. How will they escape?
Episode 104: Double Trouble: When a miniature ambassador arrives from Ursa Minute, he and the other people are causing double trouble for Earth!
Episode 193: World's Greatest Adventure: The Final Episode. Astro Boy's not done yet, there's one villain left and there's one adventure to go! At the end of the episode, Astro Boy dies while moving a rocket into the sun, ending this animated series. However, the story continues in some of Tezuka's manga.

The following deleted scenes were not shown on TV in the USA, but only on DVD. Here are the following deleted scenes.
Episode 1- When Dr. Elefun told Caccitore that lots of things happened while he was sleeping, the doctor turns on the TV. The robots knew that they were free. Speeches from all over the world were on the TV. Elefun turned the TV off.
Episode 2- After Astro Boy arrived on a ship, Colosso has torture weapons in his eyes and he and Astro Boy begin to battle.
Episode 4- When Ali Baba suspects that Astro Boy's got 1000x hearing, he breaks the fourth wall by telling the viewers to mute the volume of the TV. After the conversation, Ali Baba's men hold a sign saying "You can turn the volume back on." The TV breaks down, and Ali Baba's men were embarrassed and saying "Get a better TV, will you?!"
