Lissotestella tryphenensis is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found around Great Barrier Island.

This snail is found at depths of between 9 and about 11 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is large for the genus, rather solid, elevated-turbinate, narrowly umbilicated, the outer lip with a slight variciform swelling. Sculpture consists of spiral lirae, a secondary spiral in each interspace on spire-whorls; the primary spirals are four to six on the penultimate, and about 15 on the body whorl and base.
Coloration is light brownish, possibly due to staining.
Shell height is up to 2.23 mm, and the width is up to 2.25 mm.
