Lissotesta decipiens is a species of minute sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Cyclostrematidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found off North Cape, in Cook Strait, and around the Chatham Islands.

This snail is found at depths of between 70 and 600 m.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is minute, thin, white, turbinate, smooth except for a faint ridge bordering the umbilicus, and associated crenulations caused by axial growth lines, elsewhere obsolete.
The shell height is up to 1.4 mm, and the width is up to 1.4 mm.
