Liss Runners is a social running club for anybody interested in running for fun and/or competition, and is affiliated with county and national athletics associations.
Based in Liss and Petersfield, Hampshire, UK it has over 100 members coming from Liss, Petersfield and surrounding villages. It has a strong contingent of male and female runners and a broad range of abilities. The only stipulation is that new members must be over 18 years old to join.
Liss organises training sessions a minimum of three times a week, with extra sessions at certain times of the year and special events. There are also social events, including our annual dinner dance.
Club members are active participants in the Today's Runner Cross Country League, which is for all abilities, and organise a Club Handicap Road Race Series each the summer. Members can also enter the Hampshire Cross Country League and choose from a schedule of open races year round, both road and off-road.
They host the very popular Milland Valley Trail Race, one of the Today's Runner X-C League races most years, as well as other races from time to time.
