Lismore Township is a township in Nobles County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 232 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.8 square miles (92.7 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 232 people, 76 households, and 63 families residing in the township. The population density was 6.5 people per square mile (2.5/km²). There were 83 housing units at an average density of 2.3/sq mi (0.9/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.41% White, 0.43% from other races, and 2.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.29% of the population.

There were 76 households out of which 47.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.6% were married couples living together, 3.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.1% were non-families. 15.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.05 and the average family size was 3.44.

In the township the population was spread out with 36.6% under the age of 18, 3.4% from 18 to 24, 28.0% from 25 to 44, 16.8% from 45 to 64, and 15.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 90.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.2 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $33,125, and the median income for a family was $33,750. Males had a median income of $17,500 versus $18,750 for females. The per capita income for the township was $11,805. About 21.3% of families and 24.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 35.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 16.2% of those sixty five or over.
