Lisala

Lisala is a city in Équateur province, in northwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is located at around 2°8′60″N, 21°31′0″E. The Congo River flows through the city. It is best known as the birthplace of Mobutu Sese Seko, who ruled Zaire from 1965 to 1997.
