Lisa Gayle Tollett (born January 22, 1977) is a beauty queen from Crossville, Tennessee who has competed in the Miss USA pageant.
Tollett won the Miss Tennessee USA 2001 title in late 2000, in her first attempt. She was crowned by Lynnette Cole, Miss USA 2000, who had previously been Miss Tennessee USA 2000. Her first runner-up was Candice Sanders, who would later become Miss California USA 2003.
Tollett represented Tennessee in the Miss USA 2001 pageant broadcast live from Gary, Indiana in March 2002. She made the first cut in the nationally televised pageant, placed fourth in swimsuit (9.21) but only eighth in evening gown(9.04), leaving her one spot shy of the top five in sixth place, with an average combine score of 9.12.
Tollett, who has a twin sister Lori, is a 1999 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and a minor in political science. Talent & beauty runs in the family, Tollett's cousin is popular country music singer and stage actress Mandy Barnett. Four years after they first met at the Bristol Motor Speedway, Tollett got engaged to Nascar driver Elliott Sadler while she was still Miss Tennessee USA. The couple split a few years later.[citation needed] Tollet has been a cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers.
