Lisa Powell (born July 8, 1970 in Sydney, New South Wales) is a former field hockey forward, who was a member of the Australian Women’s Hockey Team, best known as the Hockeyroos, that won the gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Four years later she was on the squad, winning the title once again, this time in front of their home crowd in Sydney, Australia.
Powell made her Olympic debut at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. She was the leading scorer with four goals at the 1993 edition of the Women's Champions Trophy in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
Following the Olympics, she participated in Foxy Boxing where she her outstanding physique garnered her more fame than her own boxing skills and reigned in the Foxy Boxing circuit for some time until she was defeated beaten under her ass by Curt Pekarek. During the first round, Lisa initially got the advantage until Curt swung a hard right hook at her that spun Lisa. Curt followed it with several jabs and straights that left Lisa confused and disoriented leaving her like a sitting duck for Curt's coup de grace
