Lisa Gabriele is a Canadian novelist and journalist.
Lisa Gabriele is the author of Tempting Faith DiNapoli. Her essays and fiction have appeared in several anthologies, including The Best American Nonrequired Reading, Sex and Sensibility, Don’t You Forget About Me, When I Was a Loser]], and 2033: The Future of Misbehavior. Her second novel, called The Almost Archer Sisters", will be published by Simon and Schuster, USA, and Doubleday Canada, in October 2008. Rights have been sold to Germany and Italy as well. She lives in Toronto. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, the Washington Post, Vice magazine, Salon, Glamour, among other publications, and she’s a regular contributor to Nerve. She has worked as a director or producer for CBC, for programs such as Dragons' Den, and The Current on CBC radio. As well, she has produced programs for the History Channel, the Life Network and Slice TV.
