Lisa Cheung

Lisa Cheung is a visual artist, born in Hong Kong in 1969. She grew up in Toronto, Ontario, but moved to London, England, in 1996, where she now resides. Encouraged by her parents and godmother, Cheung became interested in visual arts at an early age. Much of her work deals with the concepts of locality and space.

Cheung has presented solo projects at Camden Arts Centre (2002), Chinese Arts Centre, Manchester (2002, 2004), and Derby Museum and Art Gallery (2003).
