Lisa Bloom

Lisa Bloom (born 20 September 1961) is an American lawyer and host of the truTV series Lisa Bloom: Open Court.

An alumna of UCLA and Yale Law School, she sued the Boy Scouts of America for sex discrimination on behalf of a girl who wanted to join the orgainization[1]. She has also filed suit against the Catholic Church in a child sexual abuse case, and the Los Angeles Police Department on several occasions.[2]

Licensed to practice law in New York and California, Bloom is the daughter of lawyer Gloria Allred.
