She began erotic dancing in about 1990 to pay her way through college, where she became a certified dental assistant. In July 1994, she moved to California to become an adult actress, but quit in 1997 due to an AIDS scare. She spent several years touring as a feature dancer at numerous adult gentlemen clubs around the country. After spending so much time on the road, Lisa decided to settle down and focus completely on her marriage and her new day spa business venture. Following a divorce and the successful sale of her thriving day spa, Lisa realized her long-time goal and re-entered the industry as an agent, then due to demand she soon returned to performing, roughly in 2004.[2] She now stars prominently in MILF and web based features.
Lisa started her own talent agency in November 2006, Clear Talent Management. Combined with her fame in the adult industry, her enduring success, and her ability to instruct and guide others, her roster of talent quickly grew. By August 2007, it was clear that Lisa needed to use her name and changed her business to Lisa Ann's Talent Management.
On December 11, 2007, the adult industry announced the merging of Seymore Butts' Lighthouse Agency with LATM. Essentially, Lisa Ann has taken over Lighthouse Agency and the numbers of her representation has gained even loftier heights than before.
Lisa has a free MySpace for all of her fans to join.
There is also a Lisa Ann approved Yahoo Group established to promote her called Lisa Ann Devotion. The group promotes her also through the use of YouTube.
Lisa enjoys sports (she loves the L.A. Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys), traveling (particularly Las Vegas and New York City), and being pampered at the day spa.
