Panorama from the summit of the Lisenser Spitze in the Stubai Alps.

  • Right (3 pics): Lisenser Ferner (glacier); on the far side of the glacier is the RinnenSpitze (3003 m) in the 2nd pic.
  • Center: summit pole and book box. Rightwards, the N ridge of the RotgratSpitze to the summit (Lisenser FernerKogel hidden behind); R from that the E ridge of the Rotgrat (the Plattige Wand); about half way along this is a faintly marked path up to the small Rotgrat Ferner (glacier) hidden behind which leads to the summits of the Rotgrat and LFK.
  • Left of center: view down into the faint green of the Langental
  • Far left (joining far right): Lisenser Ferner leading up to the Brunnenkogel with the Vord Brunnenkogel cut off.
