Category talk:Lists of terms

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The articles in this Category need some renaming. Some that are titled "List of..." are actually glossaries and should be moved to "Glossary of..." (see also the underpopulated Category:Glossaries). Many others are titled "Glossary of" when they're really just lists (most of these are culled from Federal Standard 1037C, a page listing many, many linked technology terms, about half of which don't have articles yet). Seems to me, until these pages have any hope of actually becoming glossaries (probably never?), they should be renamed (moved to) "List of...". Comments? - dcljr 23:49, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I've started renaming (moving) and recategorizing some Glossary/List pages to more accurately reflect their current status. - dcljr 06:52, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Sounds reasonable to me. I added the (already created) category to the pages listed on List of glossaries. BTW there is Category:Topic lists for pages that are just lists w/o definition. If you want, I can move the remaining ones by bot to the new category. -- User:Docu
Hmm. I think you lost me. Which "remaining ones" and which "new category"? - dcljr 21:52, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
