Lior is an Israeli born, independent Australian singer-songwriter based in Sydney.

Lior's independently self-released debut album, Autumn Flow, released in early 2005, was certified gold by ARIA and was nominated for the J Award, presented by Australian radio station Triple J, for the Australian Album of the Year, as well as 3 ARIA awards - Best Breakthrough Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Independent Release.

Lior has earnt himself a reputation as one of Australia's finest live artists for his highly celebrated pure vocals and diverse musical arrangements. He toured with the WOMAD festival in 2005 to the UK, Singapore and Korea. Lior also performed at the Spiegeltent in Melbourne in 2006, as well as the Make Poverty History concert in November.

In February 2006, Lior released a live album, Doorways Of My Mind - Live at the NSC. This recording consisted mostly of versions of tracks from Autumn Flow as well as some new material such as 'Diego And The Village Girl'. This album was also nominated for a further 2 ARIA awards.

In February 2008, Lior released his second album, 'Corner of an Endless Road', which was also released independently. The album debuted at number 2 on the Australian albums charts.

After completing a national tour with his band and a full string section across the country in early 2008, Lior has recently announced that for June and July of 2008, he will be playing a set of solo shows across the country, more details can be found on [1] and [2]
