Lionel Dejean is the president of the worldwide scouting and model management network WS2M World Scouting Model Management, and founder of the model agency YSE Models Paris.

Lionel Dejean managed several international advertising agencies in Europe – Mc Cann-Erickson, Young & Rubicam, J. Walter Thompson - directed the marketing of the French national bank and post-office, “La Poste”, then was appointed as Vice-President and worldwide marketing director of the Danone Group. He also directed several theatre plays and is highly involved in the fields of living arts, theatre and modern dance.

Lionel Dejean is known for his unique experience in the fields of fashion, press, arts, entertainment, promotion, marketing and advertising. Often considered as one of the best 'model and talent scout', he "opened" several countries, being the first to visit Eastern countries and now scouting new faces in Africa and Asia, in quest of the next top model. He is in charge of the WS2M worldwide network : reference fashion and media partners, leading modelling and advertising agencies. WS2M federates more than 100 reference model agencies in 25 countries.

Lionel Dejean has recently appeared in several TV programs in France and in Europe, often invited as the best French fashion expert in modeling. M6, Paris Premiere and W9 aired a program featuring him providing advices to young models. Press (VSD, and other news magazines) have followed him in scouting tours as well as quoted his comments and relayed his opinions. Highly involved in the anti-scamm process he acts as an expert to the French Models Union. He contributed to the "Guide des Metiers du Spectacle" a practical guide book for all aspiring artists and models.
