1. There is no free visual portrayal of the V.F.D. lions (characters created by Lemony Snicket) in existence. Any created version would not fulfill the encyclopedic use of this image, as it would not further anyone's understanding of the characters in question.
2. The use of this image does not decrease the opportunity for sale of the book from which it comes (The Carnivorous Carnival) since 1) the book is not about the V.F.D. lions, nor does the image reveal any consequential knowledge as to the book's content, and 2) the image appears on the book's cover.
3. The use of this image contributes significantly to the article, since the section to which it belongs deals directly with the subjects of the image.
