The Beast Wars Second: LioConvoy in imminent danger! The movie was never released outside of Japan because Beast Wars Second aired only in Japan, as a filler between dubbing the first and second seasons of Beast Wars. The movie revolves around the Cybertrons, lead by LioConvoy, the Destrons led by Galvatron and a mysterious device that has crashed on Planet Gaea (A future version of Earth) , leading to the arrival of Cybertron leader, Convoy.

[edit] Synopsis
The movie begins with a space battle between the space pirate Seacons and the Cybertron Jointron brothers. Both combine, forming God Neptune and Tripledacus respectively, and duking it out. They become heavily engaged in combat, until a mysterious spaceship knocks them both deeper into space. Back at the Cybertron base, one of the Cybertron warriors, Apache, informs the Cybertrons that an object is approaching Planet Gaea. The Destrons have also noticed the spaceship. Galvatron and his brother Gigastorm are discussing it, and Galvatron decides that the ship is a positive sign, and it will bring good luck.
The strange ship crashes down into the surface, skidding across an icy terrain before coming to an abrupt halt after hitting a large chunk of ice. Back at the Cybertron base, Apache has noticed that the ship has landed at the North Pole. LioConvoy sends him to investigate. LioJunior, the young son of LioConvoy asks to help investigate the ship, but the older Cybertrons tell him he is too young, and tease him about his age. He is quick to anger, but LioConvoy calms him down. LioConvoy tells him to wait at the base until the Cybertrons know what the spaceship is. LioJunior once again becomes angry that LioConvoy is "treating him like a kid too", but Tasmania Kid quickly proposes that he go with LioJunior to investigate. The other Cybertrons are displeased, but Tasmania Kid quickly says he will take full responsibility of LioJunior, and LioConvoy allows them to go.
LioJunior, Santon, Skywarp and Tasmania Kid arrive at the North Pole. They quickly locate the ship, noticing that it is empty. The group searches the inside of the ship and, ignoring Skywarp's warnings, Liojunior types away on a computer, accidentally activating the ship. Skywarp quickly deactivates it, and berates LioJunior for his irresponsibility. The pair begin to argue, before Tasmania Kid cools them down. LioJunior, however, is already playing with more controls. He activates the 'teleport gate'. The Cybertrons begin to wonder what a teleport gate is, and Tasmania Kid explains that it can go through time and space to summon any Transformer from history. LioJuniour is exastic, and quickly finds the control unit, but not before the Destrons find them. They quickly take cover from the intruder, Max B, who snatches the control unit. LioJunior loses his temper, but Max B leaves the ship before LioJunior has a chance to attack. Max B returns to the other Destrons outside, who claim the teleport gate in the name of the Destrons. LioJunior pursues them, against the warnings of Tasmania Kid. LioJunior engages the Destron army, who tease him. The other Cybertrons emerge from the mysterious ship and begin to battle the Destrons. LioJunior tells Santon and Skywarp to fuse with him, but they refuse to, telling him to look in his heart. LioJunior doesn't understand, and jumps back into battle. LioJunior regains the control unit, but is outnumbered, and taking a heavy beating. Hellscream, a Destron, fires a powerful missile at him, but Tasmania Kid quickly jumps in the way, saving LioJunior, but severely injuring himself. Tasmania Kid goes into stasis lock, and the Destrons gain the upper hand in combat. LioJunior pleads with them to stop, but the Destrons just laugh as they assault him with projectiles. The Destrons are about to destroy LioJunior, but reinforcements arrive. The Cybertrons arrive from the base and unleash a fierce assault, repelling the Destron forces.
Diver and Scuba rush over to Tasmanian Kid, trying to comfort him. Apache delivers LioJunior to LioConvoy, and asks how Tasmania Kid is going. Apache tells him that Tasmania Kid is in bad condition, but the Cybertrons will have started treating him. LioConvoy and LioJunior talk in private, and LioConvoy says he is disappointed in LioJunior, saying he was only meant to investigate the mysterious spaceship, not fight Destrons. LioConvoy justifies his rebellion by saying that the Destrons would have taken control of the teleport gate had he not intervened. LioConvoy asks him if the teleport gate was worth risking his friends life for, and LioJunior becomes angered, saying that he has no friends, and that they all laugh. LioConvoy asks if he knows why they fight, and what LioJuniors reason for fighting is. LioConvoy explains that all Cybertrons fight for peace in the galaxy. This makes LioJunior believe he is not a Cybertron, and he runs away, wanting to defeat the Destrons by himself.
The Cybertron base/ship flies back with the crew, sans LioJunior, in it, worrying over Tasmania Kid. The Destrons report to Galvatron that they need a special control unit to use the teleport gate. HellScream tells Galvatron he has scouts searching for LioJunior, who in turn, has the control unit. Galvatron gloats that LioConvoy cannot even control LioJunior.
LioJunior is running through the snow in his beast form, and is stopped by Galvatron, who drilled through the ground. Galvatron transforms, and the other Destrons appear. He tells LioJunior that he came to help him. Galvatron tells LioJunior that the Destrons will protect him, but he has to give them the control unit. LioJunior is at first, but Galvatron lies to him, and tells him that the gate will destroy the planet in an hour if he doesn't give Galvatron the control device. An injured Tasmania Kid appears, and tells LioJunior not to believe Galvatron. LioJunior is torn between making a decision, but decides that if he prevents the planet's destruction, LioConvoy, Skywarp and Santon will respect him. He agrees to help the Destrons, and Galvatron fires on Tasmania Kid.
When they arrive at the Destron base, LioJunior hands the control unit to Galvatron, who instructs the Destrons to release the teleport gate immeadiatley. LioJunior becomes confused, while Galvatron orders Gigastorm to search for Megatron, who, according to Galvatron, is the "greatest and most vicious Transformer in history." LioJunior is alarmed, but he is hastily knocked out by HellScream. Galvatron laughs, and the Destrons throw LioJunior in a holding cell.
At the Cybertron ship, Tasmania Kid tells everyone that LioJunior has defected to the Destron side. The Cybertrons call him a brat, and a traitor. Tasmania Kid says that even though LioJunior left him behind injured, it is not his fault, as he just wants to become a respected warrior. Kid explains that LioJunior is just seeking their trust and approval, even at the cost of his well being, and Kid pleads with them not to blame LioJunior.
The Destrons have made their way to the mysterious ship, and GigaStorm says he has found Megatrons wavelength on the teleport gate. They attempt to summon Megatron, but a mysterious giant Destron appears. Gigastorm says he must have made a mistake in the wavelength number, and Galvatron punches him. He orders HellScream to discover the identity of the giant Transformer. HellScream tells Galvatron that the Transformer is called Majin Zarak. Galvatron is pleased, because his new warrior is much stronger than Megatron.
Galvatron begins taunting LioJunior, who is trapped in his holding cell. Galvatron tells him that he will show him the extreme power of MajinZarak. MajinZarak, piloted by Galvatron, charges forward and shoots an energy blast into the sea, causing it to splash up to MajinZarak's head. MajinZarak transforms into an aircraft carrier and takes off. The Cybertrons are watching MajinZarak cruise through the ocean, and look at diagrams of his vehicle and robot mode. LioConvoy instantly recognizes him. Even LioConvoy is alarmed by this, and he orders the Cybertrons to move out.
MajinZarak is still cruising through the water, with the Destrons on him. As they approach land, Gigastorm and Galvatron converse, and Galvatron says that MajinZarak is 'all powerful'. The Cybertron ship flies above them, and Galvatron fires multiple guns at the Cybertrons, who hover above him, unable to get closer. They land, and prepare to attack MajinZarak from the ground.
LioJunior breaks loose from his holding cell by bending the bars, and he squeezes out in beast form. DirgeGun and Thrustol, two Destrons, chase after him, but he launches an attack on them. it doesn't do LioJunior much good, as the two Destrons keep chasing him. They begin to catch up to LioJunior, but Santon and Skywarp arrive to protect him. They engage and defeat the Destrons with ease. The trio combine to form Magnaboss, but DirgeGun and Thrustol quickly return, firing on Magnabos before retreating. Magnaboss, now damaged, returns to the mysterious spaceship, and tries to activate the teleport gate, but there is an error. Magnaboss hooks wiring from his injury up to the computer, and uses it to supercharge the teleport unit. He successfully activates it, but falls into stasis lock. A beast warrior, surrounded by a glowing golden aura emerges.
The Destrons launch Hellscream off of MajinZarak into the air, and he fires upon the Cybertrons as LioConvoy decides he will face MajinZarak. He instructs the other Cybertrons to back him up. The AutoRollers begin to attack LioConvoy, but Apache makes short work of them with a missile burst. Max B charges at the Cybertrons, but is knocked into the air by Bighorn. Diver uses a DiverBubbles attack to stun Hellscream, while Bighorn follows up with a HornThunder attack. Scuba takes down Dirgegun with a Sumumerang attack. DirgeGun, Hellscream, Max B and Thrustol all flee.
LioConvoy charges att MajinZarak, and avoids a heavy missile attack. He transforms and boards MajinZarak, blowing Gigastorm away with his LionTyphoon attack. Galvatron transforms MajinZarak, stunning LioConvoy. Galvatron begins to charge the giant cannons on MajinZaraks back, and LioConvoy tells the Cybertrons to scatter, and run as far away as possible. He hits all the Cybertrons, badly injuring them. MajinZarak's onboard computer, however, receives a Cybertron transmission, telling him to come to B-2, signed Convoy. He believes this was sent by LioConvoy, and that he was not damaged by the blast. MajinZarak transforms and leaves the battlefield.
A voice speaks to LioConvoy, who is still functioning, but is under a pile of rocks. It tells him to stand up. LioConvoy recognizes the voice, but he cannot believe the source. The voice confirms that LioConvoy is right, and that he was summoned to help the Cybertrons. He says that Magnaboss summoned him. Still glowing in a golden aura, it is revealed that the voice is the Cybertron warrior, (Beast) Convoy LioConvoy breaks out of the rocks, finding Magnaboss waiting for him. He has rescued all of the Cybertrons. They are embarrassed by this, but admit that it is true. Tasmania Kid arrives, saying that he cannot sleep while the other Cybertrons are fighting so hard. Convoy is on a rock ledge, waiting. The Cybertrons are astounded, and cannot believe their eyes.
Convoy joins the Cybertrons, saying that they need to fight as a team to defeat MajinZarak. LioConvoy sends Scuba and Diver to use the base computer to search for MajinZarak's weak point. LioConvoy, Apache, Bighorn, Magnaboss and Kid prepare to fight MajinZarak.
The Cybertrons allies, the Insectrons, are hovering in the sky, rellaying transmissions to the Cybertrons. They confirm that MajinZarak is heading to point B-2. Magnaboss notes that once MajinZarak enters, he will not be able to leave because of the cliff-laden terrain. The Cybertrons cheer, and head into battle.
MajinZarak and Galvatron arrive at point B-2. Galvatron calls for LioConvoy to come out. LioConvoy calls out from above, and to Galvatron's awe, Convoy is standing next to him. Galvatron is angry, asking why Convoy came. Convoy tells him that he came to defeat him. Galvatron then realises that the 'Convoy' who sent him the transmission was the same one. MajinZarak charges forward, and Magnaboss and Kid combine their power. Magnaboss pushes against MajinZarak, bringing him to a halt. He then pick him up, and hurls him backward. MajinZarak comes crashing down, and Galvatron falls out. He lands on a small ship with Gigastorm, where he flies off.
MajinZarak, however is not so easily defeated, and transforms. Scuba tells the Cybertrons that even though Galvatron is not piloting it, MajinZarak was alive the whole time, and is now acting of its own free will. Magnaboss launches multiple MagnaBlade attack on it, but they do nothing. MajinZarak fires an energy ball from his mouth at Magnaboss and Kid, knocking them over. Convoy, LioConvoy, Apache and Bighorn fire on MajinZarak, but to no avail.
MajinZarak's three horns glow, and fire up a lightning bolt into the sky. It sizzles across a storm cloud and comes down as a violent storm of electrical blasts. LioConvoy is hit, and Convoy grabs him, just being missed by a blast. Just then, Diver radios them both, telling them they have found MajinZarak's weak point: the third eye on his forehead. MajinZarak looms closer to the pair.
The two Convoys power up. LioConvoy is now Flash LioConvoy, and Convoy is now Burning Convoy, glowing gold and red respectively. They both transform into beast modes, and Burning Convoy rides Flash LioConvoy up to MajinZarak's third eye. Burning Convoy transforms mid-air, and drives his fist into the center of MajinZarak's third eye. Flash LioConvoy and Burning Convoy open their Matrix compartments, combining forces for an ultimate Double Matrix Blaster attack. It hits MajinZarak directly in the eye, and blasts straight through the other side of his head, destroying him.
The Cybertrons are conversing, and agree that the gate was sent to Planet Gaea by whoever made it to be destroyed, due to a flaw in it that can make use of it destroy the universe. Convoy knows he must leave, and farewells the Cybertrons. He returns through the teleport gate, and the Cybertrons destroy it straight after, to prevent misuse of it again, and to protect the universe. The Cybertrons gaze at the sky, where the teleport gate stood moments ago
