[edit] New paragraph
Template:linked-title now causes a new paragraph to be created every time it is used. This is unacceptable when the linked-title is in the middle of a paragraph or indeed not the first word in a paragaph. — Joe Kress 18:59, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Can you give an example? I looked around for cases like this and I only found one:
- But it looks normal to me. —freak(talk) 19:53, May. 24, 2007 (UTC)
See January 1. I tried to use linked-title for all instances of "January 1" to conform to a user's date preferences, but it split the main paragraph into three paragraphs. — Joe Kress 05:08, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
The problem was also occuring on February 30 until DavidWBrooks removed the linked-title. — Joe Kress 19:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
There is no problem with January 0 simply because "January 0" is not used elsewhere in its article. There could have been problems with March 0 if it had not been redirected. December 32 would also have a problem if the present second use of "December 32" had used linked-title. In summary, the problem will occur in any date article, including those articles discussing abnormal dates, having any significant discussion about that date. — Joe Kress 20:16, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Another affected page is February 31. — Joe Kress 06:26, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
