Talk:Linton Kwesi Johnson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've made some minor changes to remove the pejorative tone of references to the language LKJ uses when performing, versus the language he uses in non-performative public speech.

[edit] Penguin reference
The article states that LKJ is the only living poet to have been published in the Penguin series. Is this really true? Any evidence elsewhere to support this? --Bwmodular 08:14, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks to Zleitzen for finding the reference. --Bwmodular 13:42, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Picture
I contacted LKJ Records asking for a picture to be used on Wikipedia, and got the following email an an answer:
"Thanks for the email. We would grant permission but the only photos we have are copyrighted to the photographers, so I can't use those. You can take one off our website at www.lkjrecords.com if that is any help. Sorry that I can't help.
Best wishes, Sharmilla Beezmohun LKJ Records Ltd"
Is this enough when regarding Wikipedia policies? Can I just add a picture from lkjrecords.com, for example < http://lkjrecords.com/images/lintonbio.jpg > ? - Fradlin (talk) 12:04, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
