Talk:Linguistic relativity hypothesis

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I read somewhere that the reason that Japanese tourists tend to take photos with themselves or their companions in frame is that the Japanese tend to learn verbs first and therefore view their world in terms of their relationship to it, whereas westerners tend to learn nouns first and so think more in objective terms. Can't find a source for this but would be interesting to add to this article. --Kick the cat 13:42, 27 December 2006 (UTC)--Kick the cat 13:42, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
