I am researching linear alpha olefins and linear internal olefins. I wish I could get in contact with the original author to discover the source of his comments on linear internal olefins. What is in the Wikipedia article is very much in accordance with what I have read in Kirk Othmer and other encycylopedias of chemical manufacturing such as Riegel’s Handbook of Industrial Chemistry 10th ed.James A. In this article it is mentioned that linear internal olefins make a better drilling mud fluid than linear alpha olefins. Where can I find out more on this ? 72.48.190.255 19:46, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
