[edit] ToP and ToE
It says that ToP PSX and ToE PSX share the same battle system (P-LMBS), yet, ToE has vast improvements over ToP in terms of battle system. Hi-Ougis and Real-time spells among other. Can anybody confirm or deny that they actually both do use P-LMBS? Because I'm definetily not sure they do, I'd be willing to buy that ToP and ToD shared E-LMBS, but not that ToP and ToE shared P-LMBS →Nehletalk҉ 09:17, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Misunderstanding
I'm afraid I don't completely understand all the subtitles to each game's LMB system. Sure, I've noticed improvements in the battle system as the series progressed, but I still don't understand certains ones such as "Trust and Tactical" or "Aggressive" LMB System. Can someone put descriptions as to how each one is different from the other?
- I've been considering doing this. However, I don't believe I have the factual knowledge to write all that down. Furthermore, there's a distinct lack of reliable sources for LMBS information, making it hard write up. In fact, this page needs to cite its sources better as it is →Nehletalk҉ 08:45, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Expanding
I can expand this articale so that Itdescribes all the diffrent types of Liner Motion Batlle systems, should I go ahead and do this? --djtjj 23:29, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Should the article be categorized as a Game Engine?
The battle system appears to function like a trademarked Game engine. Flashn00b 00:22, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- A game engine is the source code on which a game is built, The battle system on the other hand is a sort of gameplay technic, like you wont see someone calling the turn based battle systems an Rpg's game engine, Hopes this clears things up! --djtjj
