the definition is correct but misleading in combination with the image:
A = a, but B != b
i think it is better to use the formula:
(1-t)a+tb
(and change the b!=0 assumption to a!=b) so that a and b correspond to the endpoints of the line segment as expected.

- I've changed a and b to and to emphasize that they are vectors and added that and are the end points of L. This should help reduce the confusion. Paul August ☎ 00:28, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
