[edit] History or myth

I am not sure if the "history" surrounding the origin of the Lin surname can be attributed to "fact" as many other Chinese surname origins have very similar stories e.g. "Khoo" and "Wang." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pepperlim (talkcontribs) 01:52, August 24, 2007 (UTC). --Pepper Lim 02:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Good English!

I have corrected (grammar) and re-written some sections in this wiki and hope other contributors will keep the standard of English grammar for it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pepperlim (talkcontribs) 01:54, August 24, 2007 (UTC). --Pepper Lim 02:24, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notable Lin's

(Updated 27 Mar 2008) Let us keep the list of Notable Lin's filled with only Lin's that are really notable i.e. contributed something important to society, is actually famous / well-known, won an important award, etc.

Who is "Jean Lin"? Lin YiFeng? Allen Lim?

I feel Nora Lam's name should be removed as she is only known in some Christian circles.
