Linton Army Camp is the Largest NZ Army base and is home to the 2nd Land Force Group

• 1st Battalion Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment (Mechanised Infantry)
• 16 Field Regiment (Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery)
• 2 Engineer Regiment
• 2 Signals Squadron (Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals)
• 2 Logistics Battalion (Royal New Zealand Army Logistic Regiment)
• 2 Military Police Platoon (Corps of Royal New Zealand Military Police)
• 2 Health Service Battalion (NZ) (formerly the 2nd Field Hospital)
• Operational Welfare Unit
