Linton is an affluent village 2.5 km (1.5 miles) south west of Wetherby, West Yorkshire, England and in the Leeds Metropolitan district. The village is situated between Wetherby and Sicklinghall, on the River Wharfe. Collingham lies immediately to the south on the other side of the river. There is no longer any break in between Linton and the Western edge of Wetherby, effectively making it difficult to make a distinction between parts of the two areas.
