Linschoten (52°4′N, 4°55′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Montfoort, and lies about 3 km southeast of Woerden.

In 2001, the town of Linschoten had 3588 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.65 km², and contained 1288 residences.[1] The statistical area "Linschoten", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3910.[2]
